Prices fair for a high-end salon. Of course you can add on more to your services. You can check them on on their website for pricing on most things.Thanks Bianca for trying to help me through a bad hair cut (which will take a couple or 3 more visits as it grows out) The other salon is not in this area.

Kelsey M I visited this location to get my chin and eyebrows waxed because the first time I visited I had a great experience. The price was right, the service was quick and friendly. This time, the waxing area was moved to the darkest area in the salon. The salon staff were all very friendly and the person who did my wax was extremely attentive, personable and patient. However, my waxing took an hour because the waxing area was too dark. It was hard to see the small hairs on my face with the dim lights so the waxer had to keep going back over the same spots. I understand that this area is more private but it certainly impedes carrying out the great service I expect from this salon. I would not recommend this place for waxing, unless they move their the area to a better lit location in the future.

I was not only educated on what would be best for my hair type but also aftercare and essential products to protect my investment. I am so in love with the final product. Ketina Oliver I want to start off by saying the manager did refund me for the service which I appreciate. The team was sweet but unfortunately it just doesn’t make up for the damage done to my hair. I hadn’t colored my hair in a few years because I was focused on hair health, but wanted to treat myself for Mother’s Day and switch up my look. I specifically told my stylist I don’t want the blonde to be dramatic. I presented her with inspo photos, showing her the blended look, and shade of blonde I was going for with my natural brown base. After the color, when another stylist was blow drying my hair (who btw was sweet but kept calling my hair kinky repeatedly and saying she didn’t know how to do it) my hair isn’t kinky, it’s wavy curly…. My heart sank. The color I was seeing was so splotchy and a dramatic golden brassy blonde which is the complete opposite of what I asked for. There’s literally a line across my hair where it looks like she did subtle highlights on the top, and just tacked on as much blonde on my ends as she could. The blow-dried style of someone who isn’t trained for textured hair made it even worse. I’ve never felt so ugly than I did in that moment, I wanted to cry. So I got up from my chair as fast as I could, checked out, and cried in my car. My hair is damaged and brittle with the worst color I’ve ever received and I’m so sad. Again the manager was willing to refund me, but there’s no way to make this situation better. My hair health is gone, and I have so much anxiety about letting another stylist touch my hair after this experience. I’ll attach photos. Alex Marshall Miranda is absolutely amazing. She did a flawless K tip extension on me. Color matched perfectly and the actual install was quick (as far as extensions go) and straightforward. It’s clear that she is a master of her craft. I will never go to anyone else for extensions!! Shoutout to Dani her assistant who is also just excellent.

Laura Infante I moved to Orlando and didnt have a salon recommended. I did research reading the reviews and looking at the photos of every salon nearby. I liked this one because they do keratin on afro hair so I called and Dee answered giving me details on price and everything. About a week later I went without appointment, yet Dee was with me right after finishing with the customer that she was attending. She was very nice and friendly, also very careful handling my hair because of my sensitive scalp (I didnt feel a thing ☺️). My hair ended up very straight as I wanted it. I would definitely recommend this salon.

Brittany Holloway I called about a walk in appointment and Ms. Dee answered. She was very nice and told me I could come right in for a wash and set. About an hour later as I walked in, I noticed they also did Kératine Treatments. My hair is super thick and it’s very frustrating to work through. I asked if I could do that instead and she said no problem! Within 3 hours I was out and my hair has never been this soft! She was very kind and communicative about the process. Even going so far as telling me about why she was putting less heat on my ends to avoid heat damage and how I can come back in a month for a touch up to prolong the treatment. 10/10 would recommend. My hair looks and feels amazing! I look forward to making this my go to salon going forward. Thank you Ms. Dee!

Melissah Berry Would not recommend!! This salon was recommended to me. Prior to going, I called and check their hours of operation. I was told they close at 6pm even though the website says 7pm. I arrived to the salon at 5:15 pm and they was locked up and stated they was close. There were no customers inside. Also, please note that the hours of operation was also listed on the door as closed at 7pm. The lady agreed do my hair. But she wanted to do what she wanted to do rather than what I wanted done. If youre going to close 45 mins to an hour before your said hours, you need to update your hours of operation! This type of service was UNACCEPTABLE!

It’s unfortunate that my attempts to communicate with you regarding our paid contract for content via social cat have gone unanswered, and I recently discovered that I’ve been blocked on social media. This is deeply disappointing, especially as I’ve approached this situation with professionalism and patience. I want to be clear that if I don’t receive a resolution by Monday, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter by reporting your business to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and sharing my experience with other creators who have come forward about similar concerns regarding your customer service practices. If financial constraints are the reason for this issue, I believe humility and honesty would go a long way. However, if that’s not the case, I respectfully urge you to honor our agreement to avoid further action. It’s disheartening to see such behavior, particularly from a Black-owned business, as it perpetuates negative stereotypes that so many of us work hard to overcome. I’ll take this as a lesson learned to research businesses more thoroughly before entering into agreements, but I’m hopeful you’ll take this opportunity to resolve the matter amicably. Over the year her skills have aged like a beautiful fine wine, only getting better with time. So she corrected my hair, cut and dyed it. She is also going to style it day of, I cannot wait!!

Danielle del Pico Cicely is not only a goddess in real life, gracing you with her presence, but an actual magician. I came to her with a huge hair disaster, a situation I felt hopeless with. I had been dying my hair by myself for years and it basically had gotten to the point of no return. I don’t even know how she did it, but she not only made my hair look healthier than it has been in years, but she made me look red carpet ready. The texture of my hair is even different! Bree Watson Ronda is the best! Shes been my hair stylist for close to 20 years. Im thrilled that she owns her own salon now and absolutely recommend her. Shes personable, caring and attentive — and great with kids, too. My two young boys get haircuts with her now, too. The Hive is a wonderful locally owned salon for cuts, color and more!

Noelle Strader The Hollywood Lifting massage was extremely relaxing while also providing firm pressure to tight muscles in the face, upper back, and décolleté. Ending in a mask and LED mask followed up with light pressure and a serving of tea, it was a treatment I won’t hesitate to book again.

Elyna I have been going to Annette for nearly 7 years and I dont trust anyone else with my hair. Im very low maintenance, so she listens to me and gives me suggestions on hairstyles for me. Annette is never trying to up charge me and you can tell she loves what she does. She takes great pride in her work and it shows!

Michele Bourassa If you are looking for the BEST stylist and person to do your hair then look no further!!! Annette is a true beauty inside and out!!! She is SO knowledgeable about all types of hair and color and extensions! I started going to her after my stylist moved out of state and honestly I couldn’t be happier!! She colors and cuts and does beautiful extensions on me. My extensions are blended perfectly with my color and no one can tell that I have extensions. My mom who is a retired hairdresser (very picky) comes all the way from New England to see Annette! I highly recommend her to anyone!!!

Shay They seemed nice and I was planning on leaving a good review but I simply can’t do that in good faith LOL I don’t leave bad reviews often but I have to warn the public about this place. While I understand that it’s under new management, there’s no excuse for this. I essentially paid $120 to have my beautiful hair butchered by amateurs and get scammed. 1 - I didn’t realize how badly they messed up my hair until it dried. I have very thick curly hair and came in for a trim and thinning out. She used shears and when my hair dried, I saw how insane the breakage is. My hair is broken, brittle, and way more frizzy. There’s no fixing it, I’ll just have to wait for it to grow out and do some moisturizing treatments. 2 - They did extra treatments I didn’t ask for without letting me know it would cost more. The owner was well aware because she straight up asked me if I was told about the extra cost. When I said no, she just continued without apologizing or correcting it. Great customer service! 3 - She was apparently training her entire staff that day and while I don’t care if all your employees are standing around watching you cut my hair, she did not let me know ahead of time and it felt weird. 4 - When people go to a salon, they want a relaxing experience. This was not that. The staff were very loud, unprofessional, and untrained. If you’re going to run a salon that way, at least offer clients champagne to deal with y’all and relax in some way. This salon keeps getting new owners and none of them seem to be competent. I’m not even going to bother coming back.

Gisela Garcia Yany is the best! I went to another place before finding Yany and they mess up my hair. My bangs in specific. I found Yany by accident and she fix it up in just a few minutes. She knew exactly what I wanted and executed beautifully. I recommend her 100%. She has definitely won a loyal client in me.

GeVonda Me African American sisters, do not come here to get your hair done as they do not like the texture of your hair. Check out their FB page and find the picture of hair textures that reads " Que tipo de cabello tienes?" This translates to What type of hair do you have? Notice that there is a sad face under the 4C hair.

Kyle McNeil Yany took time to learn my hair and uses really healthy products to care for it. She is really nice, clean and she knows hair. I totally recommend her!!

I have had many massages with many different people in my 61 years and I can tell you that she was the very best Ive ever had! Shes so kind and professional, her studio is beautiful and comfortable and I sure hope she insured those hand, because God works thru those hands- I felt like I was in heaven! Orlando Hair Systems Phenix in SoDo is an amazing location! We rented a suite there for the last five years. We started with just one suite and eventually our business grew and we rented a second one. The location here is great, easy access from I-4, several restaurants and of course Target in the plaza helps not only with foot traffic but also makes getting things for both yourself and your clients super convenient. We have definitely loved it here. We were able to really make each suite our own and had a lot more freedom to personalize the space then any other suite rental salons we had seen. The owner of this location keeps the location looking pristine and takes great care of the salon and the tenants. When things are broken they are fixed right away, the paint and flooring is always being touched up to make the place look its best and the owner is onsite often making sure everything is is going well. During our five years here we were able to grow our business to the point that last month we actually had to expand into a stand alone location. We were sad to leave our suites that we had been in for so long but are very grateful that this place gave us the opportunity to grow our business and provide us a home for five great years. If you are looking for a place to start your own business I highly recommend this location! It really provides you with a great platform to grow and allows you to focus on growing your clientele and develop you business without the stresses that come with other alternatives.

Jay The Monster I had my own suite inside of Phenix Salon. Had a great experience at the suite. Clean and well maintained. Management is good with communication. I would recommend if you’re looking to provide a private experience to your clients. 10/10

Dawn Wilson (US) What a lovely day we spent with Michelle at Juve! We are in town for a wedding, and have natural hair. Juve is the salon for naturals! The ambiance was lovely, the service stellar. Their patience with my daughter, willingness to listen to how I prefer her hair to be cared for is just what you want. And they served my favorite water, Icelandic. It’s the vibe and atmosphere you wish all black salons had. Oh and yes our hair is on point.

Tesra L. My baby was gifted the hairdo of her choice because once again she made the honor roll. She couldnt stop smiling! Her crochet locs turned out better than she could imagine. She asked that Juve Hair Salon become her permanent shop. Needless to say, we are very impressed and satisfied with their work.

Jasmine The stylist who did my hair was a bit rough. I understand that my natural hair can be kinky when wet and requires extra care, but during the detangling process, she didn’t use conditioner and instead towel-dried my hair before combing from the top. This caused a lot of pulling, and I ended up losing some hair on the right side. Thankfully, I spoke up, and she adjusted her approach for the rest of my hair. While the experience was a bit upsetting, I appreciate the staff’s friendliness. However, I did notice that the salon could have been a bit cleaner.

Bess Corinne brought ideas but also paused several times to get my feedback, and in such a way that I felt comfortable asking for changes to my haircut. There also wasnt any pressure to buy anything, and she explained in very simple terms how to take care of my hair at home. Everyone was very nice and laid back. My new haircut kept all the things I like, but I also felt comfortable enough to try some new things too!

Z I’ve had a few haircuts here throughout the years. Alchemy’s people have always done a great job on me during the mullet years-as I call them. maybe I’ll go back to being a mullet guy. Today I had a simple trim on my medium hair. ’ll probably be back in 6 months to go back to a mullet. We’ll see. Liz did a fine job cutting my hair today as well, good job Liz.
