We hired Kelsey from DBK for hair and make up for my wedding in September and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome! Kelsey also died my hair before the wedding - the color was absolute perfection. I had a very specific request to go more blonde but with a darker shadow root. It was everything I wanted and more. I showed her inspo pictures and she listened to me. The hair do and make up for the wedding made all my dreams come true and the make up turned out wonderful in the pictures. I was nervous at first because I don’t usually do much to my hair and I wear minimal make up on a daily basis - Kelsey made sure I was comfortable and felt like myself!!! I cannot thank them enough! Lexy Logan I see Sunny and she’s so great with my hair! It’s very hard to find a new hair stylist but I couldn’t recommend Sunny and this place enough! They are all sweet and do a great job with my hair and customer service in general. Berry also works with my Mom and she does a great job with her as well.

katelyn sereikis I’ve been to Salon Swank quite a few times, always to see Sunny. She cares about your hair, gives you realistic hair goals for your type, texture, and quality. The salon uses high quality products, is clean and sanitary. All associates are kind, pleasant, and professional. The owners have really created a great atmosphere for guests and employees.

Tara Kranzel I’ve been going to Renee for years and have recommended EVERYONE to her, including my mom. She’s the most dedicated hairstylist with a genuine love for her clients and service. I’ve always left happy and will continue to go back! I love how she cuts my hair, styles it, colors it, and listens to my preferences. I also love getting a Brazilian blowout from her! Ive had the privilege of watching her blossom at Haus of Chantel, cultivating an amazing environment for creativity with Renee and Amber. The professionalism and warmth all three of them bring forward is irrefutable. I highly recommend this salon.

Alice Burnett I have been seeing Amber for all of my hair needs for the past 8 years! She always gets my hair just right! I was so happy when the Haus opened a couple of years ago and I got to follow her there. The vibes are *immaculate* and I’ve never seen anything but beautiful work walk out of the salon! Marissa and Renee are such kind souls and always so welcoming while I’m there!

j f I was so excited to get my hair done. Renee did my hair for the first time. I asked for a multidimensional cool toned brown color. Instead I was given a warm toned brown. I asked for the bob cut to be evened out and same length front to back. Instead my back was left about an inch longer. My excitement ended up with me going home and crying. I ended up doing my best to fix the cut myself. Update in response: I went to a consultation with Renee before this appointment. The only issue she noted in my hair was that it would fade quickly. But same day isnt really covering that. She never once said the color I requested and provided photos of was unachievable. Which would have been an easy thing to say if that was true and she wasnt just concerned with making an easy buck. She cites that I left the review on Christmas Eve, yes she did my hair the day prior and left it looking terrible for Christmas. She was more concerned with getting out of work and shoving her phone in my hand to tip her than giving me any time to look at the hair. Her leaving the back an inch longer than the front had zero to do with the state my hair was in on arrival. Hopefully my review prevents other people from getting ripped off by her. Texting with Renee was a nightmare. All her I would do this that etc yet then when I ask her to do it then she wont. She is just a liar with no accountability. Avoid this hair salon. Additional update: Renee deleted her original catty lying response. The current response is updated. Oh and she likes to threaten her LGBTQ clients who text her for the refund she stated she would give with police action after I had said we could talk in person at the salon. So its wild that she is putting in her response that I should have talked to her in person. It was giving vibes the same as white women who call the cops on African Americans playing in a public park. Happy to share the texts so people can see how she truly is. This is the farthest thing from a LGBTQ safe space. Additional update: Sending texts to follow up on a refund after Renee said she would provide it after she did not is not harassment. No texts were sent after she finally provided the refund. So what she is calling harassment is an updated Google review based on her behavior right before the refund and her new response to my Google review. That isnt harassment and no one told you you have to keep updating. And the first text I sent her related to the refund was sent after her initial, now deleted response, to my google review said I should have contacted her. So uh what would most people do? Stating that I would come to the salon to discuss the refund in person where other people would be able to hear our conversation after Renee was being unresponsive to text and 2 weeks had passed isnt threatening. Its called working to get to a resolution and stating the obvious considering the size of the salon and that it would be during open hours. Im well aware that stylists at your salon are LGBTQ, which is one of the main reasons I chose to come there in the first place, but that doesnt mean it is LGBTQ friendly. Threatening LGBTQ people with the police for texting you to get a refund you said you would give isnt harassment. Its also utterly disgraceful that you want to play the victim and call this harassment when some people have actually endured harassment in their life. You just continue to lie.

Trish Buchanan It was my first visit to this salon and Kristy was awesome! Not only did she do a great job coloring my hair and styling it, but she was so very friendly and kind too! I highly recommend Kristy and the Cohesion Hair Studio! 5 stars for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

MM Kristy is phenomenal and highlights, cuts and styles my hair perfectly every time! I recently lost my hair due to chemo and asked Kristy to color a wig to look more like my hair. Well, it’s absolutely gorgeous and turned out 100x better than I could have imagined! I have so much more confidence because of Kristy. The whole team is great to work with as well! I highly recommend Kristy and everyone at Cohesion!

Catherine Colello Mimi & Alexa worked their magic! I gave them quite a challenge as my hair was heavily box dyed, uneven, and almost black. They walked me through the process, gave me realistic expectations & then proceeded to blow those expectations out of the water. I drive over an hour to the salon & would not consider going anywhere else. Beyond happy with my hair & Cohesion!

My wife even had her do her, and our bridal party’s, hair and make up for our wedding 7 years ago! I would highly recommend visiting this salon and my friend Kristina.

Jamie Goldenberg I have been going to Kristina for years. Now I drive all the way from Tampa to get my hair cut by her. I have short difficult hair, and she is the only one I trust to cut it. She does an excellent job every time and she is also very fast. They use a special coloring technique that only takes 5-10 minutes! I recommend Kristina for both her cuts and color.

amber bartlett I follow my stylist Kristina to whatever salon is lucky enough to have her. She’s been cutting my hair for the better part of 8-10 years. She’s absolutely fabulous. She can mimic from pictures you’ve found. Or if you give her complete control she’ll give you a cut or color that’ll fit you. Or if you’re on the fence with a cut/style/color she’ll give you her unbiased opinion. Bambu is ALWAYS clean and the vibe is ALWAYS good. I’d definitely recommend this laid back salon for your needs. And if Kristina has a spot available in her book definitely schedule with her. You’ll love her personality, her professionalism, and her amazing abilities with a pair of scissors or beard clippers.

Breehan and Stephen Lloyd Ashlee is an incredibly gifted stylist. She has an amazing intuition with haircuts and color/highlights. While traveling Ive worked with other stylists and Ive found none that compare to her skills. She is the absolute best! She is also so funny and easy to be around. She was great with my kids too. The Hive salon has a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. I look forward to my next appointment!

Jennifer Rubiello Laura and the team at Hive are incredibly talented! She always listens closely to what I’m looking for, whether it’s an updo, new hairstyle or a trim. She also taught me how to finally manage my wavy/curly hair in the Florida heat. Couldn’t recommend the salon more!

Marni Perry Before I had my first consultation with Chelsea, I hadn’t had a haircut in over 6 years. I wasn’t comfortable going to a salon because my mother was the only one who cut my hair (she was a hairdresser). Chelsea listened and made me feel comfortable enough to trust her with something I was anxious about. I was very interested in vivid colors after seeing Chelsea’s beautiful work on social media. She took the time to educate me on what a commitment it is to get vivid colors and how to maintain them. Ashley Butler Chrissy was absolutely amazing! After getting my nails done by the same stylist for over twenty years, I was terrified to try a new spa. Chrissy listened to my concerns and assessed my nails after a different salon pretty much ruined them, and we ended up doing a gel X overlay and I am in love with them! She was so kind and gentle and I will definitely be back!

Ginny Field I just had a wonderful experience at SPA 801. I recently moved to Florida and have had the same stylist for the past 30+ years. I was very nervous, but Geneva put me right at ease. The front desk and shampoo staff were very friendly. This was a great experience from the booking to the checkout! I will be a regular.

Im just a dude so my hairs are relatively easy but the women I see after having been stylized look awesome and are always happy. Everyone at this place is kinda a big deal and the salon itself is potentially world-famous! If you don’t know, just ask somebody!

Aretina Cash Extremely professional, yet personable stylist! Appointments kept on schedule, and she has excellent time management so you are in and out within a reasonable amount of time. Not that you would mind spending more time there, though, since the shop is beautiful, clean, and you are well taken care of by the receptionist with refreshments! I will be moving to Tampa later this year and will still make the drive to come here because it really doesnt get much better than this!

Michele Smith I cant believe I havent rated this wonderful salon before now! I have been going here just about every week for at least 2 years. The atmosphere and staff are great. My hair has grown healthier and longer since going here. And wait...if your appointment is at 2 you are in at 1:55!! This was unheard of for me before with stylists who constantly overbooked. Perfectly located on Central Avenue & 44th. I moved to St. Pete 2 years ago and I was happy to finally find a black hair salon that was knowledgeable, professional and cared about the health of my hair. The owner, Sharon, is professional, experienced and kind. Sharon, and her staff/team of lovely daughters are extremely attentive and organized. I got a beautiful protective style that not only boosted my confidence, but it’s so easy to take care of! I got compliments right away! As I’m writing this review, I’m at my second visit at the salon. Highly recommended!!

mary frederick Today was my first time at Euphoria. They were so welcoming . As soon as I checked in I was offered a drink. I had a mimosa which was lovely. I didn’t make an appointment a head of time so when I called they didn’t have any openings for a haircut. She said she would call me if they had any cancellations and within 20 minutes I had an appointment which I was thrilled about. Tori cut my hair and did it beautifully. I have fine think hair and she was thorough about making sure I could still style my hair and be able to put it up and cut a good amount off. I couldn’t be more thrilled with my results and Tori. It was a great experience overall and will definitely be back to see Tori again. In addition , Tori showed me products that would be good for my type of hair and they give you coupons to use. Vy Nguyen Ive been going to Euphoria for years, even after moving to South Florida a few years ago. I always make it a point to schedule an appointment whenever I’m back in St. Pete, and I’ve worked with a few different stylists over the years—all of whom have been fantastic. Most recently, I had the pleasure of working with Matt, and I couldnt be more thrilled with the experience! I went in for a much-needed balayage touch-up, along with a haircut and some brighter front pieces. From the moment I sat in his chair, Matt took the time to really understand what I was looking for, while also offering his professional advice to ensure I left with beautiful, healthy hair. You can immediately tell how experienced and passionate he is about his craft. Matt truly took his time, paying attention to detail and perfecting his technique throughout the coloring process. I never once felt rushed—he was fully focused on making sure the results were exactly what I wanted. It had been over a year since I had my hair done, and with my wedding coming up next month, I knew it was time for a refresh. When I left the salon, I felt like a brand new person. For the first time in a while, I felt truly happy with how I looked again. A few weeks later, I had my dress fitting, and I honestly felt like I was glowing in a way I never have before. My confidence is back, and I owe a huge part of that to Matt. Overall, I had an amazing experience working with Matt, and I highly recommend both him and the entire team at Euphoria.

Stefanie Kwasiborski Great first experience. Beautiful clean salon. The best hair wash and head rub Ive gotten at a salon. Wash, cut, blowdry and style was $47 for slightly longer than shoulder length hair. I feel like its a great value for the type of salon. Ill be back!

Sonia Desai I went here today for the first time and also my first time ever styling my hair! Michelle was my hairdresser and she was so thorough and did a nice job on my curtain bangs and layers. She walked me through every step of what she was doing and told me everything I needed maintain the style afterwards, even going as far as showing me affordable and great items on Amazon. The whole staff was super sweet and explained things incredibly nicely for a first time customer liked myself. I will definitely be coming here from now on :)
