I have long hair and I dread going to the hair salon because they always cut way too much off than Im comfortable with. Nicole listened to my concerns and was confident Id be very happy. And man was she right! Beyond reasonably priced too. ❤️ I will be using her again and cant wait to see what else incredible she does with my hair.

Stephani Nee Ive been going to the salon for 2 years now and absolutely love it! The place is beautiful and clean and the stylist Danielle is absolutely amazing! Im Very picky about my hair and she has done a perfect job every single time I have had her cut my hair. carolyn ellicott Have gone to Brian Rowlands for three haircuts so far. He is AWESOME and his services are very reasonable. Before finding Brian, I tried a couple places and they gave a good cut the first time, then they seemed to give worse cuts each subsequent visit. One of them hacked 3 inches off the length for a "trim"! I resorted to waiting until I visited my daughter in Ohio to get my hair cut by my old hairdresser. So happy to have found Brian so my tresses can get trimmed on a regular basis again! Highly recommend!

Mary C I made an appointment with Mindy Bolt, I had a 3pm appointment, she asked if I could come in any earlier, as she had a cancellation, so I went out of my way to be there at 2:30pm only to find out, she had 2 cancellations, and a no show, so she left for the day!, This is NOT good business practice, especially when she asked for me to come in early! She wasnt there for my appointment, I would NEVER use her or recommend her to anyone!

Bartholomew Barna My wife needed a haircut last minute. Another salon recommended she try Rio Villa. They were so kind and accommodating! She is so happy with her cut that she is going to only get it cut when we visit Florida from now on!

Dylan Mitchell Tara’s daughter Harlie Wilhite is a dangerous delusional narcissist who got arrested for multiple violent felonies. You can find the bodycam video on YouTube showing Harlie assaulting multiple people, including cops, and resisting arrest, while lying about how much money she makes and claiming she is the prettiest girl in the county. Her family protects Harlie and excuses her dangerous and violent behavior. It’s no wonder she is such a delusional narcissist. Part of the blame falls on Tara.

Scott Perrin Tara cuts my hair once every 2-3 years when I travel. Always a great job ! Unreal that she only charges $ 19. You guys have no idea how lucky you are. For a decent haircut in Raleigh, NC the prices start at $ 40.

Nancy Boulanger Great first visit. I was made to feel welcome the moment I walked through the door. My appointment was for color, a trim and a brow wax. Lee was my stylist and she took the time to ask questions about my lifestyle, looked at my hair to determine the best products to use, and really listened. My hair looks amazing, my brows look great and I feel beautiful! To top it off, when I got home my guy said "Wow honey, your hair looks great!!" Im looking forward to my next visit in 6 weeks or so.

Erin Potter Everything went well at first until the stylist started trying to tell me that I wanted something completely different than what I came in for. Charged me extra for services I didnt want and didnt disclose that Id be paying more for said services. I will not be going back here. Edit since the owner felt the need to call me a liar. Im using a different google account, thats why im not listed. Only reason I did so is because Id like to remain anonymous.

Nketia Gordon Carla was amazing. I needed a hair stylist to straighten my hair with short notice for my wedding and there were no black hair salons in my town. I found her online, called her and she fit me in her schedule, did an assessment of my hair and beautifully silk pressed my hair. It lasted beyond my beach wedding. This picture was a week later. Carla was very kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. I will definitely return. Additionally, I so enjoyed having a silk press compared to a Dominican blowout. I recommend it.

Marilyn Jones I am new to Florida and desperately needed to find a salon. Well, after dealing with a nightmare with another establishment, I found Carla!! I consulted with her and she helped me out of a mess with my hair. She not only hooked me up with a style that suited me, she talked to me about treatments. She is incredibly knowledgeable about hair coloring and highlighting, and her professional and kind manner made the whole process enjoyable. The spa itself is wonderfully relaxing—everything from the chairs to the hair-washing experience is designed for comfort. I especially loved the massage while getting my hair washed—it was such a nice touch! The treatment and the staff were fantastic. Mikaylah Posthumus This is the most beautiful and elegant salon I’ve ever been to, I have known Stephanie for two years now and she is incredible. The first time I ever went into the salon she originally worked at she looked at me and said please tell me we are not cutting all this beautiful hair off. She does consults the second you sit in her chair even if she’s known you for ages. She is very thorough and detailed and does a fantastic job. I just went from box dyed and then professionally dyed 6 month hair growth purple to black and blue, I showed her multiple pictures and she told me exactly what she could achieve and what would be harder to achieve and she did exactly what I wanted and exactly how I wanted it. My cut has always been perfectly suited to me and I love her!! She’s very sweet and easy to talk to and understands your needs and is respectful and appreciative of your time and patience with her. She always does her best and it always looks amazing. Before and after pictures shown. Book with Salty Waves, they’re all so sweet and loving ladies! First picture is when I dyed my hair in May of 2023 and the second is what it was when I went into Stephanie and asked for something along the lines of picture 3 and the last is my final result. It looks amazing and the products she uses made my hair so shiny and soft for DAYS.

Ellis Was visiting my mom in the area and Salty Waves next to Publix really caught my eye. Scheduling was seamless and I had the opportunity to move my appointment up to avoid some serious weather conditions approaching. Augustine was nothing short of amazing. She made me feel comfortable and took really good care of the health of my hair while transforming my one color and cut into a layered balayage masterpiece. I absolutely love it and will be coming back next time I’m in the area. 5/5 would recommend to everyone looking for a great salon with a great experience as well.

Amy P As a new mom of two I was super excited to get a pamper day that consisted of a mani/pedi. I hadn’t done this in years! I was able to make an appointment easily and the receptionist was so nice, she even helped me find the location when I got turned around on my way there. Unfortunately, my manicure and pedicure were not that great. The lady who did my nails was very sweet. She mentioned she had been in this business for many years and just loved it, which made me feel comfortable. She cut my nails on my toes all crooked and I had paint all over my skin. There’s parts of my nail that is not fully painted and at one point I had to ask her to fix it because it was a huge chunk she’d missed. (Which I would be ok with if it weren’t for the fact that my nails and feet were both done so poorly). By the time we got to my manicure I didn’t even want anything cut or filed I just wanted them painted. As you can see from the picture, I might have been able to do this same type of job had I just done them myself. I hate to say that because again, the lady was so incredibly sweet but I’m just bummed. She did a great job making sure I was comfortable and with the massage she did on my feet and legs but ultimately I was there for a nice polished mani/pedi. I’d probably give them another chance with a different tech but for the money I paid I’m just disappointed.

Arlenassister I have tender feet and hands. Cacie was gentle with me. My first visit. I got $10 off for my first visit. The reason I chose this particular nail salon is they use bowls that can be 100% sanitized, no plumbing connected that cant ever get 100%sanitized. The building has so much history. I love the stainglass old windows. Also I love how the owner exposed the old water pipe system. Everyone who works there makes you feel like you are family.

susan whalen I really like this nail salon. They do such a great job. My gel pedicures and manicures last longer and look better than anywhere else that I’ve gone. Chrissy V did my pedicure today and I love it.

R I Did a deep tissue massage recently with Bailey, and he loosened up my back a lot, where I hold a lot of stress. Susan Szwed I have been going to Linda for well over a year. My northern stylist found her for me because Linda also uses Goldwell products- the best! Linda is fabulous. Knows how to cut and how to color. My northern stylist- who I have been using for about 20 years -is very complimentary about her work . Ask for Linda! And while you are there get your nails done by Melissa! This woman knows what she is doing. I’m not easy- first I used gel way to long and my nails were splitting . Then I started gardening and that did a lot of damage. Melissa has done a great job coaching me frankly , but gently , how to get the best and healthiest nails for my lifestyle !

Meg Jones I’ve been getting my hair done here at liyabella hair salon with Samantha since I first started out in high school. I’ve never had a bad experience with her and she always makes me feel right at home. I always leave the salon feeling much better than when I walk in, and I always leave with gorgeous hair! Unlike other salons, liyabella has a very homey and comfortable feeling to it. If you continue to get your hair done here, all three stylists will recognize you over time and ask you how you’ve been, which is very sweet. I’ve attached pictures of my hair that Samantha has done, I usually stick to blonde, but every now and then I like to change it up! Carol L Its been 40 years since Ive had a perm. "Nervous" is an understatement. Samantha cuts my hair, but Lorrie did my perm. I had sticker shock, (because itd been 40 years), but Im very very pleased! Thank you, ladies! Revision/Addition; - After having my perm 3 weeks now Ive got to say I still LOVE it! Its exactly the permanent beach wave look I was wanting. I actually waited 4 full days to wash, wet, or comb it. Again, Lorrie was fabulous...so personable and knowledgeable about chemicals, and the many different ways to roll the hair to achieve many different looks. My hair is exactly as silky soft as its always been....no damage whatsoever. Samantha, whom I see for hair trims, is equally as great! Once this perm grows out Ill definitely consider getting another one.

Joe I was in town for work and lets face it I look a hot bushie mess. I was staying a few days later for me so I decided to get a hair cut. Debbie not only fit me in she was the only one there in this cute local business. This may be a small place but it loaded with so much charm and Debbie give off nothing but joy! Ellie I went to Art & Chemistry to Nancy, in the My Salon suites. I showed her photos of how I wanted my cut. I told her to take 2" off. I told her I wanted the back to be the same length as the sides. She took off about 5" in the back & 3 - 4 inches on the sides. Now, its like a short bob & the sides dont blend with the back. Now, I have to wait forever for it to grow out. She did NOT do what I asked for. It is way too short & not manageable at all!
