Maureen Calcagni Mandee is great! She ALWAYS does a wonderful job and she is consistent. She was recommended to me 6 years ago and have been with her ever since. I have several family members who also go to her. The salon is friendly and always delightfully decorated for the season.

Nikki Kemp Ashley gave me a great style and perfect highlights! Super cozy shampoo bowls. The staff really seems to love each other. They brought out cake and sang happy birthday to one of stylists. Cute!

Michelle Neuman Very poor management skills on appointment. Shantil is a good hair cutter but a very poor appointment skills. We’ve made an appointment multiple times and every time an hour or two before she cancels on us and makes us reschedule, I’d understand if it happens once in awhile things happen but every time without notice she cancels .

Jackie Nagy I have been going to Just Fabulous for over a year and the environment is wonderful. Melanie and the people working there are the sweetest. I moved to West Palm Beach for college and drive back a few times a year just to get my hair done with Melanie. She does such a great job and is always so happy to see me and catch up on life. All-in-all I HIGHLY RECOMMEND making Just Fabulous your new go-to place!!!

Pastor Susan Rudi I cannot say enough about Melanie. She is an artist, and more ! I like many people have had my small business effected by the pandemic, closed up for good. Things have been extremely difficult for me, I have been depressed, struggling and I really needed this. Melanie is the kindest woman, she heard about what happened with me and gave me a gift certificate! I had never met her before either. Her act of random kindness isnt where this review ends, you see I havent had my hair done in 6(ish) years. What she did for my hair is unequivocally art! The colors are gorgeous, and the cut and style impeccable. Melanie and the girls in her shop are seriously the best in Florida!! Extremely welcoming, professional, and make you feel as though your a good friend. The experience I had will be in my heart forever. Jackie Frymire If you are looking for an amazing colorist/stylist and all-around great person -- go see Melanie at Just Fabulous! After moving to Florida, I had some bad experiences with hair stylists -- until I went to see Melanie! She is truly a master at what she does -- she can just look at your hair and know exactly what needs to be done! She did a smoothing treatment (best Ive ever had with my curly frizzy hair which hates the Florida humidity!), color, cut and highlights. She rescued my hair and made it beautiful again. The Salon is a fun place and everyone that works there is awesome! Highly recommend!

A I Alpa is always amazing. She threads my eyebrows perfectly! If you want beautifully shaped eyebrows go to her!

Roslyn Emmons I love the new Studios that they have for all sorts of Medical Care lawyers the offices are so small and comfort and just perfect for whatever you need for a business my hair stylist was wonderful a long time friend like family and we had a lot of fun and she did a wonderful job I would recommend her to anyone she also does my daughters here braids straight here anything you need

Arlana Kelly Reaves The store may seem small but the owners really make the most of every inch available. It is very clean and easy to navigate. The selection of products is huge. They have everything needed to care for natural or processed hair as well as many, many, many options for wigs/weaves/sew-ins. The prices are great. I never feel like I could have gotten a better deal anywhere else after visiting. Most importantly though, the owners are the friendliest individuals possibly in all of Sanford. They remember you when you stop in and are just the nicest bunch of people. They treat everyone with kindness and dignity. I would not think of shopping anywhere else for my familys haircare supplies.

Joyce Summersett They are friendly but be careful when you buy a wig. I selected a wig on sale and she went behind the desk to get a bag for it. It took her a while and when I got home it wasnt the wig I selected. I couldnt bring it back because it was a sale item. Just make sure you check before they ring it up that its the wig you selected. I know better next time.

jonsay241 Good prices, good options pretty much same prices as other stores. Just got braiding hair for 3pack 5.99 which is good. We have gotten shoes here too, for my girls. Good hair store. They didnt follow us around either so that was nice.

Kim Bonesteel My first time at Stephs salon and it was wonderful. From the time I came in and discussed what I wanted with my hair, needs and concerns. She truly wants you to have your best hair for you and who you are. The salon is so relaxing and quaint. My hair cut and style is gorgeous and I got a much needed refresh, with volume and dimension. Alicia P. I hate that JCPenny salon only caters to non ethic hair. I wanted a wash/conditioner and trim. Apparently, non ethic hair tends to be cut wet while my hair needs to be blow dried for an even trim due to the curls and coils. Well, you get charged more for having different hair. Also, this location has roaches. There was one on its back fighting for its life in the broad daylight by a door. I see theyre trying to address the problem with pesticides, but having roaches us nasty.

Rosa Santos Ruths Hair salon did my hair and I loved it. I sent My daughter whos hair was matted from her bun on the top of the head. They took her in spoke to her and instead of cutting off all her hair, they de tangled it She was there 7 hours but she was detangled her hair. Then they assessed how much they should cut off from the damage At the end she looked great and they did not charge extra. This is definitely our new place to go!

Marisa Craig I originally found Amanda through a friend and she was able to help me with some damage I had from heat. Im always really apprehensive to try a new salon but she was very helpful when I first visited her. Ive been getting my hair done by her for over 4 years now. Amanda is very thoughtful when figuring out what to do differently with my highlights at different times of the year. I also love that shes good with fine hair, she makes a point to cut and color my hair to make it look the best. If youre looking for anything wedding wise, she kills it with makeup and up dos! I havent personally done anything with her but I love seeing all her work. I highly recommend Amanda for all your beauty needs!!

Melanie A I walked into the shop to ask if they have seen my missing dog. I had a missing poster in my hand. Without me saying a single word to her she said no thank you and turned back to her phone. Rudest person I have ever met. If anyone has seen my dog please reach out! We miss her and are so worried.

Jackie Leon Lindsay is the "hair-y" godmother of sanford. Shes an extremely talented and all around good human. I was hesitant to go for the first time because I previously had a negative experience at another salon... but I decided to give her free consultation a shot and I am SO GLAD I did. I immediately felt so comfortable and trusted that she would do something great and she did just that. She was able to fix what I had and made it so much better. I came back a second time just to have my hair styled for a photoshoot and she was completely accommodating when I asked to come in a little early because I feared not making it to the photoshoot on time. She styled my hair quickly and it looked amazing! I even got to where I needed to be 10 minutes early. She even remembered the little tidbits I shared about myself on my last appointment and that to me shows how much she cares about people. As long as Lindsay has her place open, I will be coming here for all my hair needs. I will also let everyone know of this place cause it is so worth it. Her prices are amazing, her skills are top notch... If youre on the fence about going like I was, please just give her a shot, you wont be disappointed and shell make sure you leave happy.

Kelsey Reinsch Just got my hair cut by Lindsay (the owner of Studio 105) and I am IN LOVE. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a pleasant experience at a salon. Lindsay fit me into her busy schedule last minute and was so fun to hang with. My hair looks incredible and I legit paid next to nothing for it... I thought she was joking when she told me how much I owed her. Go see Lindsay! I’ll never go to another stylist again.

Candis Ames Desi provides the highest quality service in the most relaxing environment, all for an affordable price! She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to understand your skin needs. Desi has a calming energy and makes the entire appointment so comfortable and enjoyable, even when a procedure can be slightly painful like extractions. The attention and care she provides is next level and I’m always so pleased at the end of my visit. This has been my third visit in the past three months and my skin is transformed thanks to her! She has not only provided treatments that have helped my acne, she also recommended wonderful products that I will not live without now. I highly recommend her services, a visit to Desi is easily the highlight of my month, she is incredible!

A S Rebecca Waldron! She is amazing! I have to say going here is quite overwhelming since they dont have a receptionist. But everyone I encountered is so kind. Rebecca was the right hairstylist for me! And I will refer to her as my/mine from now on! I will be a loyal customer. She is knowledgeable. Helped guide me. Listened to me. But her expertise is where it is at! I went to othet salons teying to get what i wanted and they for some reason couldnt see the vision. Perhaps b/c I habe curly hair? Janet Nelson I previously met Juliet walking past salon lofts. I reached out to her yesterday to inquire about her highlighting services for my hair. When I inquired about making an appointment she told me there was a $50 deposit to hold the appointment. Although that would be applied to the service, I found that request ludicrous. She told me I could stop by so she could see my hair. I stopped in at the time we arranged and she looked at my hair stating things that we’re also obscure I might add ,and although I wanted highlights only she proceeded to tell me all these other services that I would need. I felt that the young lady was trying to up charge me as if I had no experience in getting my hair done whatsoever.. She said I could come back tomorrow for a consultation to which I thought that would be a private conversation. as on this occasion she had someone in her chair. I arranged my day around going back in to have a 4 o’clock Consultation with her to see if we would proceed and how. I texted her 25 minutes before my scheduled time and earlier that morning to let her know that if she’s running behind let me know. I understand a hairdresser is hands-on but I continued to send her text messages to which I received no reply. Even though she read them . Approximately one every five minutes until I finally said I will be there at 4 o’clock. when I walked in I was surprised to see once again that someone else was in her chair when I thought we were going to have time alone at the end of her day for a private conversation. she said that we could talk in front of the second person that I did not know only a day later. I understand Juliet is very young and perhaps we have different ideas of what a consultation should be and entail. I had a gut feeling when she was requiring $50 just to hold the appointment. If I were to do that with my clients. I wouldn’t have clients, and therefore, along with the fact that she was telling me all these other services that I was not interested in nor never had any One put out there in order to have my hair highlighted before, I knew that she was up charging me and therefore I will not be doing business with her. She seems to require respect to the value of her time, however she had no respect of mine.

Cati Paul I’ve seen a lot of the stylists here and wasn’t impressed but I recently saw Yoshi Bermudez and she is BY FAR the best stylist in this place. Very experienced, isn’t pushy with products, and really knows what she’s doing. GO SEE HER!

Leigha Lang Stephanie does a really good job so I want to like this place, but I have had terrible experiences 2 out the 3 times I have ATTEMPTED to get my hair done here. I drove a long way out here to have my hair done by her and no one showed up, no one answered the phone, and I couldn’t leave a voice mail. There are multiple addresses found for this business and I drove to all of them thinking maybe I had the wrong address. There are other braiders just as good and it’s not worth the frustration coming to Brownstones.

Despite communicating my early arrival, there was no response or indication of potential cancellation. I took an Uber in the rain, arriving at the location over 15 minutes ahead of time, only to find myself waiting. Fortunately, her colleagues in the building were kind enough to inform me that she might be running late. It was disheartening to learn that her clients often experienced long waiting times ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. This experience has raised significant concerns regarding her professionalism and work ethic. It is crucial to exercise caution when considering her services, as this incident reflects a lack of regard for client communication and punctuality.

Yang Liu Ive been with Sayomi since her days at Hair Cuttery, and she has been exceptional from the start! Im thrilled she’s opened her own business. Even after moving from Sanford to Oviedo in 2017, we continue to drive back to see her. Sayomi always takes the time to listen to our needs and delivers exactly what we’re looking for. Both my husband and I go to Sayomi, and as our family grew, we began bringing our kids as well. While the price for kids cuts might seem higher compared to specialized kids salons, Sayomi treats children with the same care and attention as her adult clients. She takes her time, chats with the kids, asks what they want, and follows the full process—washing, cutting, blow-drying, and styling. My kids, even at 4 and 6, love the experience and prefer it over the typical kids’ salons. They really enjoy being treated seriously. One of the things I appreciate most is that Sayomi never tries to sell me any hair products or push unnecessary treatments. She’s a true hairstylist who genuinely cares about giving you a great haircut. Sayomi does an incredible job with my daughter’s thin hair, cutting it layer by layer so it grows beautifully. We only need to trim her bangs at home occasionally, and the rest always looks perfectly maintained. I highly recommend Sayomi for the whole family!

Mrs. FL I was a walk-in on a Sunday afternoon. Sayomi is a lovely lady and excellent stylist. I wanted a basic layered cut. She was so professional and did a great job of giving me extra tips on how to give my hair have more movement and bounce. I’m glad I took her advice. Plus I appreciated that she didn’t rush the appointment and took care to make sure the cut was just right. My hair looks and feels amazing! She’s a gem and such a fun person to talk to and just enjoy some “me” time with. I look forward to my next appointment with her.

C Im new to the area, and its always stressful finding a new salon. After hours of browsing through websites and photos and reading reviews, I came across Shear Vanity. I know its not important to some people, but one of the main things I look for is ease of booking an appointment. It was super easy booking online, and I got really lucky finding an appointment the next day. It was my first time at Seminole Towne Center, and Tiffany was so nice to send me a text to let me know how to get to her. If she didnt text me, I think I wouldve waited in the parking lot till the mall opened, lol. Immediately upon meeting Tiffany, we hit it off right away. Her energy and upbeat personality set the vibes for a super positive experience. She loves what she does and it definitely shows- she did an amazing job with my hair. Im happy to have found her and cant wait to come back!

Ciara McGee Tiffany is the only one I trust with my hair. She was very nice and welcoming. I have very very dark hair that is very stubborn to lighten and she was able to get my hair light enough to do crazy colors for me.
