South Texas College - Technology Campus - McAllen Rose Garden: The Advisor department is a joke! Lazy staff, I was the only one waiting in the lobby area and waited 15 minutes to be seen. When I was seen by staff, they were not familiar with the Majors/Programs. This department needs active training in what are Majors/Programs and what they consist of, and needs to be more active. As a customer, this Education agency does not motivate me to enroll.
The whole camp needs Customer Service training. Rio Grande Valley College - Pharr Javier Larraga: I am RGVC alumni, did my LVN and just finished the ADN program. This is a good accelerated program. The atmosphere is friendly (except for one security officer). Instructors are great. Ms Florence Shogbola is the best! And the ADN Mr Ramos is awesome too. My biggest complaint for the campus was the parking! Get there early or good luck! Did anyone answered and say you are getting a $100 Walmart card and then went on and on about paying the shipping fee and activation. So some lady answered the 866- number on the website, and I keep telling her I don’t want the reward after she told me about the shipping fee and she keep saying something think about the people who don’t have food, shelter blah blah like what?
Glad I read the review before I even try to find out about this school because I was really interested.
