4 /5 Efe Akwara (efe houston): My Fiancé (now Wife) just started with West Coast. She was able to transfer all of her prerequisites from Dallas college. as an investment, it’s been good so far, we will see how well it pays off. The only thing I did not like was the last minute, 1800$ added cost for nursing kit. We understand this increase was said to be from the vendor, but why was this not communicated to us via email until about 5 days to the start of classes? That is too late for any student let alone an F1 student to make any decisions, and resulted is us being slapped with 275$ monthly increments in tuition (1800$ total), and the original tuition on its own isn’t cheap. This should have been communicated ahead with the rest of the tuition & other costs. WCU fix this late communication
***Update: Keeping this at 4 stars because of the last minute information on added costs for nursing kit. I’ll update my review once we get a feel of the network at west coast, looks promising. So promising, I had to delete my previous comments, not all of the reviews on here were accurate. WCU actually transfers community college credits, and guides you to scholarship resources on their portal which you can apply for, and sits with you to go over the financials as regards tuition well ahead of your start date or transfer if you’re an F1 student.
