5 /5 Jeff Amos: Ive been taking bass lessons with Lori since August 2011 when they first opened. Not only is she one of the kindest teachers Ive ever met, Ive found her lessons practical and helpful. Im a much improved player since these lessons. The best part has to be that Lori is one of the best bass players Ive ever heard. Shes clearly an expert.

5 /5 Kurt Roenfeldt: My 11 year old daughter has been taking guitar lessons from Kenny for the past 2 years and it has been wonderful. He is an excellent teacher and musician and is always helping her grow and progress her skills. TMA has given her the opportunity to play in front of audiences at Troy Night Out and Rockin on the River, which is a great experience (and motivator). I cant recommend TMA enough!

Lori is an incredible bassist and teacher; she teaches you the songs you want to learn as well as the theory behind them so that you really understand the music and your instrument. such a valuable experience in my development as a musician.

5 /5 Sara Gazoorian: Troy Music Academy is amazing. The teachers are all excellent musicians and invested in developing and encouraging their students. My two daughters have been taking lessons here for a few years now and I’m so glad they have these wonderful musical role models in their lives! The teachers also quickly adapted to virtual lessons due to COVID so that lessons could continue safely!
