Head of the Class Learning Center- private Prek,K-8 - Lakeland Shay Lewis: My children have came here for many years, they started on the preschool side and transitioned into the K-8 side. The preschool teachers were all so nice and welcoming, they made sure my children were ready for school! The director was always accommodating and willing to work with me on payments during hard times. The assistant principal and principal on the K-8 side were always very involved and helpful. My children all test at the top of their class and love going to school! I cant thank HCLC enough for not only teaching my children but loving them too! Adult Education-West Area Adult School - Lakeland Carolina Melendez: 20 years ago I learned English at this school. My teacher at that time was Mrs. Chaplin. The programs structured approach covered grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and conversation skills. Interactive lessons and real-life examples made learning engaging and fun. She took us shopping, to restaurants she even taught us how to take the bus. She was knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about teaching.
