5 /5 Sadeea Saeed: This school was not on the top of my high school ranking during applications but after attending the school I can definitely say that I enjoyed my time here. Even when we started high school remotely, the teachers and staff were always there for us as best as they could. They were more hopeful than we ever were. The one corridor on campus is everything to QHSLS students and you truly understand that once you realize that it’s not about how much space the school has or needs but about the community that the school has and how much heart and soul the community within the school has. The teachers and staff are always there for you whenever you need them. They always stay back for office hours to offer extra support or do extracurricular activities and be involved with the school and the students. They do their best to go the extra mile and help you pass when you’re falling behind. The teachers and staff here deserve everything good in this world. We owe any and all success to our teachers and staff that made us who we are today. They’re pretty amazing. The school is very inclusive and welcoming to all religions, cultures, and people. It’s a very diverse school. Queens High School for Language Studies is a place of purpose and compassion, the school fosters values of PRIDE (partnership, responsibility, inquiry, determination, and empathy) and friendship. It doesn’t matter that we had one corridor, that one corridor is full of a thousand memories and the time at this school was amazing. If only we didn’t wish time away and want to grow up quick. I would highly recommend this high school to everyone. It’s amazing. The atmosphere of the school itself is in and of itself just amazing, the community is very supportive and caring. I hope it stays that way. Stay involved and you’ll have an amazing time here.
