5 /5 Atalaya Gonzalez: I am a parent of a child who has attended here for several years. WE LOVE PINECREST! My child has grown leaps and bounds. They’ve really encouraged her to learn to be independent and a self starter. Her test scores throughout each school year has grown SIGNIFICANTLY. SAFETY— in today’s world, this HAS to be the #1 thing for our students. I feel that my daughter is very safe when I drop her off each day. Their safety measures are well thought out. COMMUNICATION— They have very open communication with the parents. I’ve never had an issue where I cannot get a call back or questions answered. This is very important to me as well. The school is clean, lively, and a lot of work is put into it by the staff and Principal. The PRINCIPAL— WE LOVVVVVE HER! She’s what this school needed. She’s kind, a go getter, and truly loves the students. ACADEMICS— They are rigorous. Not every student thrives in this environment but mine does. She needs the challenge, and this works for us. Thank you to Pinecrest, the staff, and the parent volunteers!

5 /5 Christina Brown: Ive been thrilled by our overall experience at Pinecrest. My son is finishing kindergarten there today and we cant wait for him to continue his journey there. We plan for him to attend all the way through 8th grade (and high school if its added by then). Teachers and staff have been very supportive (my son is very smart but very high energy and at times challenging behavior) and he has learned so much this year. My mother was a private school principal for many years and has a masters in early education so I have high expectations for where he goes and she has been nothing but impressed with Pinecrest (she is local and has had a front row seat to his experiences). Aftercare is good and he enjoys it. Ive been very impressed with how well the big kids treat the little kids (treat them just like friends, know their names and play, do not ignore or mistreat them). The general attitude of everyone seems to be good and collaborative. The Spanish language program is excellent hes well on his way to knowing Spanish, he wasnt excited about Spanish in the beginning but now that he knows quite a bit he wants to learn more and practice. Only thing that could possibly be a criticism is that sometimes communication with parents has conflicting info (like well get three different emails and they each say something different so theres confusion as to what were supposed to be doing). But thats never really a huge issue its just irritating. But honestly if thats the worst I have to deal with with a school I think were in great shape! Again I cant say enough good things about Pinecrest and I cant wait for my son to continue there and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great school for their kid.

4 /5 Christopher Moretti: No school will ever be a perfect experience and Pinecrest is a great example of that. However, being a parent of a Pinecrest student for the last 4, I can say that the school truly cares about the kids. There will always be good and bad teachers, but the school itself is built on the foundation of continuous improvement. They listen to feedback and take concerns very seriously. We have heard plenty of complaints about the school, but most of them have been blanketed with the misconception that the school is a "day-care." If you are a parent that is expecting to just drop your child off and let the school raise them, then all schools are going to disappoint you. If you play an active role in your childs development and learning, Pinecrest is an incredibly receptive and communicative school. There is always room for improvement, but the school is always aiming to do better and that is something that is greatly appreciated.
