First of all, he made remarks suggesting that only “smart” people could finish the course earlier, implying that intelligence was the sole factor. When I pointed out that completing a course faster often depends on how much time someone can dedicate, not just intelligence, he dismissively responded with, “Yes, whatever.” That kind of attitude is condescending and unhelpful.
He then asked if my last name was Chávez, like the president in a condescending tone
—an inappropriate and irrelevant comment. When I requested an email with more information, what I received was five short lines, no subject line, and no real effort to provide details. It lacked any sense of professionalism.
With representatives like this, it’s discouraging to even consider applying. This was a very unfortunate experience, especially for someone genuinely interested in pursuing education.
