5 /5 Brooke Kinross: We have been more than happy with our experience at Mount de Sales over the past 4 years! I am a Maconite that moved away after high school and returned years late with my two children and husband. Eventhough I attended a different private high school in Macon, I knew that Mount de Sales was the best fit for our family, based on the diversity of the student population, the high quality or education, their college preparation along with a strong sense of community. This is a fabulous school with strong ties to the Macon community. Highly recommend!!!

5 /5 Erin Chapman: We have been apart of the MDS family for 4 years and every year it just keeps getting better. We personally love the diversity, the class sizes, and the community. We currently have a middle schooler and a high schooler attending Mount de Sales. The administration is very involved during and after school. The teachers my children have are supportive and caring. Overall, we have enjoyed our time here.

5 /5 Jimese Lightfoot: I am African American, and my daughter attends MDS. MDS is a great school. I saw a review that is just not true about African American students. You must be a great parent to have your child in a private school. MDS does not allow us to pay $17,200 for school, so our children will be in a hostile environment. They are looking for people who want to learn first. If you are open to complaining about home-first issues, maybe this is not the place to attend. The environment here is college-ready. Graduates leave and go to college, and they are explained how prepared they are for college. I pay my money because this is what I want for my daughter. I need her to be prepared for college and not live in a messy society full of people who cannot accept accountability. As a very successful adult, I want the same for my daughter. Here at MDS, you do not know if parents have money assets, how big or expensive the house they live in, or how poor a family is. MDS is about accepting all colors: black, white, purple, or blue. Why?? Because when your child starts living in the real world, that’s what they will see. We attended another private school for elementary and decided to finish middle to high school at MDS. Together, we love the environment, the people, the coaches, and the parents because the actual parents of MDS understand the vision. MDS keeps shining because this private school is a diamond!

5 /5 kristy steele: MDS is a wonderful place for our children to grow into adults. I love that MDS is downtown and students learn how to live in a city. The school is the most diverse in Macon, and I appreciate the fact that my child is learning how the real world works. MDS was founded by the Sisters of Mercy, and MDS truly believes in Mercy and giving of students’ time and attributes to contribute to our community.
