GAP Alternative School - Bonifay Sofia Johnson: My boys were struggling in school and made some bad decisions so they excepted my boys and my oldest was a year behind and is now graduating this month. This school has truly helped them and I can’t thank them enough. My kids don’t have a choice in graduating or not because I won’t let them fail or quit but they deff wouldn’t be were they are now if it wasn’t for their alternative school. Thank you Kim for allowing my kids to flourish and taking them under your wings and I thank the teachers there also. And anyone there that has helped my boys there. Im just so happy and excited for their future and what they accomplish in life. Thank you again GAP! From academic support and certified teachers to field trips and faith! The best part though…that my family feels supported and my kids know that they are loved here! They have an all-star staff, incredible founders, and an amazing classical style of teaching which has my kids begging us to take them to school everyday!
They focus on not just growing the mind, but also the heart and body. My kids classmates are all amazing, they are kind and thoughtful and are all best friends. They get PE and recess everyday, learning to compete with themselves and encourage others. There is no homework, so more time at home to spend with family and being a kid when they get home from school.
My wife and I couldn’t be more happy with our decision to send our kids here! Best school in Indian River County!
