The Little Village Montessori School - Dahlonega Chas Lemley: Our two daughters have both attended The Little Village Montessori School. I have only positive things to say about this school. We were new to the Montessori method, but have been impressed with the results. The teachers at TLVM create a warm and welcoming environment.
Our kids feel supported to explore the subjects they find interesting. As a recent example, our four year old daughter brought a book she had chosen from the local library to school about volcanoes. The rest of the week she came home and told us about what she had learned that day about volcanoes. On Friday, she came home with a small clay volcano she had molded and painted. That was so awesome to us, almost like magic :).
Our oldest daughter has since entered the local public school here in second grade and has performed at a high level. We really love TLVM and the wonderful women behind this special school.
