Herguan University - SunnyvaleAmeed Kaur: A university of the Indians, by the Indians, for the visa. Thats all this university does. Pay the fee and get the work permit. Student population breakdown: 95% Indians, 4% Chinese, 1% misc. Almost 99% of the Indian students here are working as fake QA with 6+ years of QA experience, and the instructors will actually encourage you to go for these fraud QA positions.
University isnt fake or anything. Its legit. Studies are very sub standard. Two things they care about; attendance and fee. Keep these in check, and youre good.
So good luck if youre in US for fraud QA work. This university will help you achieve that.
Santa Clara University - Santa ClaraStepinska Agnieszka “Aki”: Santa Clara University
A really nice campus. Beautiful buildings, well maintained and very clean. It has a historic feel with plenty of architectural buildings to appreciate. We didn’t go inside any of them just walked around campus. There is an old church that may be worth a look. You can walk-on campus but to visit the campus by car you have to get a visitor parking pass either by the entry or go to the security booth. The security were very nice and will give you a map of the campus.
The campus exudes a sense of affluence, and its evident that theres wealth here. While walking around, we came accross a teachers meeting were all the teachers were very well dressed. They looked more like professionals in corporate attire than your typical brainy educators. The neighborhood around the campus is well-maintained and felt safe. The campus atmosphere felt friendly but also a bit preppy. Despite that, the campus is definitely worth a visit, as its beautiful.
Carnegie Mellon University Silicon Valley - MOFFETT FIELDTejaswi: Nice cozy building with few programs and students. Most people dont know CMU has a silicon valley campus, but here we are haha. Anyway its fun here with some small events and good company.
Mission College - Santa ClaraJoyce Fukuchi: Love the love. The students are doing a great job and the food is delicious. Very inexpensive for the whole meal of soup, salad, entrees, dessert and drink and rolls for under $15.00. The food is excellent too. I will be going back again when they open after Easter break. My hats off to the culinary students. Job well done...
Today was the dishes they prepared before their final exams. My spaghetti was superb with lots of meat. Flavorful with enough sauce. I love the croissants that I filled with the chicken salad spread with the tomato lentil soup.
Next week will be the last of the Bistro meal. It will be a BBQ party. I can hardly wait. It is always outstanding.
