5 /5 Kate Huang: The language immersion, small teacher to student ratios and small group/interactive learning cant be beat. My children get very little Mandarin at home but its been amazing to see their confidence and use grow in the last few years, especially with writing!

5 /5 susie posson: I have two grandsons who have been attending this school for a few years now. They are both immersed in the French language studies. I am amazed at the progress they are making. The small classes and one on one attention is invaluable. I realize that sometimes private funding schools struggle with administrative issues and can be challenging, and can even take years to work out, however, lm confident the owners/directors motives and goals are for the betterment of the children.. so grateful for their dedication and continued hard work! 5 /5 Andrea Fascinetto: My 4 year old had never been in a school setting before, but thanks to ISSA’s amazing summer camps, he has absolutely thrived and developed a love for learning. He’s thrilled to start PreK in their language immersion program. The teachers and administrators, especially Ms. Caroline, are incredible—warm, experienced, and truly dedicated to the children’s growth and happiness. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Herry Ahn: My hope for my three children is that they grow up to be model global citizens. In being a global citizen, I feel that it is important that our children get introduced to as many languages as possible. I strongly value the French education system. My oldest 12 yo child went through the French education system for about 4 years. Today he is able to read, speak, and write in French. Sending my second child to the International School of San Antonio (ISSA) was one of the best decisions I made. At ISSA, the teachers, administrators, and students created a nurturing environment that enabled him to read, speak, and write in both French and English. He truly enjoyed ISSA and it was incredible to visibly see his growth and development. My job requires that I move a lot with my family. Fortunately when I was told to move to Washington DC, I did not have any difficulty finding a French school accredited with AEFE (The Agency for French Education Abroad) after one year at ISSA. He went through their application process. He performed wonderfully during his interview that was conducted in French and English. I strongly believe this was possible because of the excellent curriculum he received at ISSA. Thus, I strongly recommend ISSA for those who strongly wish their child to have a solid international educational experience in French and English.

5 /5 Laura Deegear: Our son attended the Doseum campus most of this past year, and then switched to the main campus for the last few weeks of school. He had a rough start and his teacher and the admin were amazing in helping him to get acclimated and more confident in his Mandarin skills. We were so pleased with the results of his language acquisition that we decided to send him for an extra day in the spring semester and then every day with extended hours the last few weeks of school. He was very happy once he settled in and was excited to go to school and share what he was learning at home. His teachers and the admins were supportive and helpful for every step this past year and if we werent moving out of state, we would definitely send him for another year. Thank you all again!
