Reviews Florida State University: College of Law (by GG)
5 /5 Jon E.: Excellent education for attractive price…acclaimed professors.
5 /5 Lauren Rodriguez: Great to be back there. Last time was 28 years ago when we lived in Tally for law school.
5 /5 Larry Love2379: The best place to study and be free. Best place for a black man to be. Very informative. Famu had a law school first then Florida politics took it and gave it to FSU.
5 /5 Mitch Silverman: The foods not much, but you can get a decent legal education there.
Shout-out to mah homie Professor Robert W. "Rob" Atkinson!
Travel route Florida State University: College of Law
College of Music at Florida State University - Tallahasseebud maddie: I was on a field trip with the Senior Center. It was a great presentation in Ruby Diamond. The presenters spoke about the students in the College, the Marching Chiefs. We were treated to music from a brass quartet and another mixed string and brass quartet. Great visit!!
College Of Nursing - TallahasseeLogan Ehlers: This building always has the heat on even when its 76 degrees outside. Good classrooms but hard to focus when youre sweating
Johnson University Florida - KissimmeeYesenia Fernandez: If you are looking for an “educational institution” that treats your son/daughter like a $$ sign, this is the right place for you.
If you are a student/athlete do not waste your college athlete years in this place. All your first semester classes will be bible classes for almost $8,000 a semester. These will not count towards your major if you transfer to another school unless maybe is a real christian school because this one is definitely not one.
Their lack of integrity has led to violations to the FERPA law God knows how many times before we actually had to intervene as parents.
Student athletes that are not members of the men’s basketball team had to ask for basic things like a decent bus to travel with enough space to stretch their legs and not like sardines crammed in a can. How do you expect athletes to perform adequately if they have to travel for 6 hours crammed in a little bus with all their bags? Basic things like an increase in their meal budget from $10/student to $12/student was an uphill battle. You cannot even buy a meal at McDonalds with $10.00 anymore.
Students do not even get a new uniform every year. For less than a minimum fraction of what I paid here in one semester my daughter would get a new uniform every year, shoes included, when she was playing club.
This is probably because they have a $1.5 million deficit and there is no surprise now as to why this is.
Everything is for the men’s basketball team because their coach is the athletic director.
On orientation you will listen to them tell you how the student is supposed to behave and the consequences of not following the rules but nothing happens to the members of the men’s basketball team because their actions do not even get investigated. In the meantime, members of the other teams get penalized and even suspended from games.
If there is a coach or employee that wants to denounce the disparity and favoritism among the teams, they will get fired without an opportunity to speak. This school only has a place for the select few who just allow the injustice to go on, very christian indeed. The administration gets upset if you request a meeting to clarify issues that keep happening.
Half of the women’s volleyball team left last year and half left this year. Many members of the men’s soccer team are leaving as well. This is a pattern of behavior that leads you to wonder why are they not able to retain their student athletes other than of course, the men’s basketball team.
The lack of integrity by the administration is something I have never seen before in my life and this is coming from someone whose parents have been to college, I went to college, my husband went to college and this is my second kid in college.
The behavior of this school and their administration are the reason why there is a phrase that says “there is no love like christian hate”.
I would never recommend this school to anyone least of all a student/athlete.
