5 /5 Sasha Hamel: My son has attended 1 year of Ellis Hollow so far and we look forward to his second year next year. He adores his teachers Miss Ellie and Miss Kai. Most days when I go to pick him up he does not want to leave! The school has a great play space inside and an incredible play structure/area outside. Ellie and Kai are amazingly patient, kind, creative, flexible, and fun. We are so grateful we found this preschool!

5 /5 Joe Kider: Ellis Hollow is the best preschool in the Ithaca area. We looked at all the preschools in and around Ithaca, and nothing compared to the experience of Ellis Hollow. Ms Ellie and Ms Kai are amazing, compassionate, and caring. Our daughter loved her time there. The best part (see images) was the "Works of heART" show the teachers did. My wife and I loved that every childs art was different and unique (not cookie cutter). It expressed their own personalities and reflected their own love for the preschool and teachers. If you are in Ithaca or at Cornell - Ellis Hollow should be your one and only stop for an amazing preschool.

5 /5 Hilary Ewing: Ive been nannying for a family all year and doing pickups from this school each day. The teachers are so amazing with the children and have obviously worked together as a team for years. The school is set in a surprisingly central area for us and has an outstanding playground space. We were originally going to enroll my own son somewhere else and changed our mind to enroll in Ellis Hollow Preschool instead - the community, the teachers, the intimate setting, everything just seemed like such a great fit, especially for my shy guy. So glad we found it!

5 /5 Rhody ODonnell: We have had the best experience with EHNS preschool. Both of our boys have gone through the program starting at age 3 and we couldn’t have been happier with their experience. There is so much to love about the program including the student-centered, play based curriculum, the incredible family bonds that have been made over the years, the fun and colorful classroom, the magical forest classroom, the beautiful grounds and wooden playground! I could go on forever, but I truly believe it’s the teachers, Ms. Kai and Ms. Ellie, that set this program leaps and bounds above the rest. They are so talented and such a gift to this community. We will be forever grateful for their unwavering support, patience, love, flexibility and encouragement for our kiddos over the years!

ACORN Nature School - Ithaca G H: I cannot recommend Acorn enough! First of all, the team of educators is outstanding: caring, thoughtful, supportive, and resourceful. Emily is a literal kid-whisperer, Sophie is a well of empathy and knowledge and the whole staff at Acorn is just harmonious and guides the children with a gentle but clear approach. The physical environment is also magical and unique, with a wealth of different outdoor spaces for kids to explore and learn about themselves, the world, and how to be with other kids. The indoor space is custom built, beautiful, and designed to encourage play, craft, and curiosity. My three-year old has been happier at Acorn than anywhere he went before. The team supported him through his difficult transition from his previous preschool, and now he comes home daily with "ten thousand thumbs up for school". Finally, Emily also communicates very clearly and openly with parents about everything, which is huge to us. I honestly feel that Acorn is not just a preschool, but a true partner in helping raise our child.

Community Nursery School - Ithaca Adrienne Rose Bitar: We love Community Nursery School! Such a warm and supportive community that prioritize children’s wellbeing and happiness. Beautiful playground, kind, experienced teachers, and a wonderful upk discount for pre-school age children. I have had my girls in all three classrooms and wonderful experiences in all classrooms and teachers.
