I called the school immediately after and reported the incident, office staff did not seem to care or think it was a big deal and I am fairly certain that as we were hanging up told me, "Yeah, good luck with that" when I told her I would be calling back to speak with Miss Joanie tomorrow as she was apparently not there today. Also fairly certain that is not how we speak to children in education. I think we are supposed to help them feel safe and trustful, not belittled.
