Lee College - BaytownTony Floyd: I visited Lee College and it was one of nicest campuses I’ve ever seen. The negative reviews here are all from peoples experiences not getting they want trying to argue over the phone. The campus is beautiful and clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. I would encourage people to visit Lee as a student or faculty to see it for yourself. I walked away very impressed.
Houston Community College - Coleman College for Health Sciences - HoustonMaleah: I don’t know who is at your reception, but they don’t need to be assisting people who are asking for help regarding their education. The person was extremely rude to me for no reason, kept cutting me off, and then gave me a phone number to call that doesn’t even work and hung up in my face. All I needed was some help with getting more information for the fast track free classes for ekg. I had to call a completely different campus and when they tried to contact this campus for me, they couldnt even reach anyone. It should not be a battle to try to get information regarding education, especially as someone who is trying to implement positive change in their life. That was a terrible experience.
University of North Texas at the Collin Higher Education Center - McKinneyBobby Cone: Beautiful building! I attended Collin College back in the early 2000s when it was still Collin County Community College and this campus wasnt built yet but Ive been in many of them before and they atmosphere is always very nice. This is a great place to get an education if you live in the area and dont want to pay todays insanely high tuitions at other schools.
Collin College - McKinneyTaylor Acker: Fine school but good luck trying to get your transcripts from them after too graduate, Id rather go through getting my wisdom teeth removed without anesthesia than go through this process again which you are absolutely need to do if you ever expect to use credentials to get from here for a paying but I guess they dont care about that part, just having you waste you time/money on their courses and shafting you at the critical point later on of gaining employment.
McKinney Campus - McKinneySavanna Phuy: The lady at the front desk for the Welcome Center was disrespectful and inconsiderate of my time. I called in advance to see if I can speak to an advisor and the very nice lady over the phone told me I could come in even if I wasn’t a student just to discus my different options. ( I wouldn’t go for no reason) The front desk lady just didn’t care what I had to say and basically stated if I’m not a student there is no help no time for you. I was completely okay with waiting even if it took hours because I know how busy they are at the start of the year. In addition she decided to take a phone call in the middle of our conversation and I stood there waiting while other people were getting helped. What’s the point of going to this college to apply if they are not even friendly to their future students.
Collin County Community College - McKinneyMaDonna Sims: It was nice. I like how clean it is, how modern it is and the staff are always there to help.
I just wish they would add private rooms for studying, equipment to rent, later hours for the computer lab with weekend hours. Another plus would be to add TVs (maybe watch CNN) in the snack room upstairs for a tab bit of entertainment and news.
Collin College - Spring Creek Campus - PlanoCarson Lewis: This place is horrible. I qualified and was approved for a grant to cover my final semester, which I had to drop before beginning some of my courses due to personal circumstances. However, these brainlets decided to send me to collections and claim I owed them for a free course I did not take
