5 /5 Rod Vilic: I attended Bates in 2009 and earned my highschool diploma and an associates degree. Yesterday, I ran into an old friend who recently graduated from the welding program at Bates and now happens to work at the same company I am at. After catching up, he told me that he remembers me sharing my experience from Bates and how I told him I was struggling with math and almost did not graduate. He recalled that I told him one particular teacher mentored me, tutored me after class, and prepared me for the final math exam in which I passed because of her patience and relentless effort to support me and my learning challenges. He then shared of his experience and let me know that 15 years later, he had the same exact experience with that same exact teacher. I felt called to write this review because of the major impact this teacher has had on at least two people. I am so thankful for her help all these years later. If anyone gets the opportunity to attend this great school, you will be extremely pleased to have a class with Mary Ward.
