The Koan School - Denton Kelli: This school helped me realize that public education and the systems they have in place are there for a reason, public school receives funding because they adhere to guidelines adopted by professionals. If you want very little feedback other than we have fun, we play outside ALOT…then by all means send your child here. We did really value feedback from the head of school, Dr. Greg. But beyond that the elementary is really lacking to me. When we didn’t sign up for the following year, the last three months was mostly a waste. My daughter was for the most part ignored educationally, did artwork all day and either teachers just shoved her under the rug. The teachers teaching there all have children that attend (for free). The reviews are mostly staff (just be aware).
