Jeremy Rueth I have had a great experience going here. I am currently finishing up my first semester here (3rd semester of college) after moving up from La Jolla. Three professors are great and the ocean view can’t be beat!

Jihea Chang First of all, the view is amazing. You can literally see the ocean in the campus. The professors are really enthusiastic and professional. Also, the school provides lots of helpful services for students, such as stress relief, job internships and etc. I really recommend taking Summer classes for quick credits and studying. Also, there is a free bike shop in the campus, where SBCC students can fix their bike for free. Its called BiCi Centro. They learn how to fix their bikes.

Avery Rose Cloud So far I am LOVING my time here. So far all my professors & help staff have been utterly kind & approachable folks. I currently work in the lifescape gardens, which is a large garden space at the back of the campus overlooking the stadium. I love walking through the tropical section of the garden most of all! There are always so many lizards, rabbits, butterflies & hummingbirds around. I love being able to come to a great college with such a relaxing & friendly atmosphere. The views are great too! There is just so much plant life & nature throughout the campus & it really helps to calm the nerves. I will say though, you WILL get your daily steps in trying to get to all your classes & the cafeteria. But hey, thats alright, keeps me healthy. My only note is the cafeteria has great food, but it closes so early! I absolutely would recommend this college for anyone who wants a great scenic college experience.

Mappy STCA is not just a place for academic excellence, but a place where learning go hand-in-hand with personal development and a drive to be impactful. Students are highly motivated and inspiring, while the dedication of teachers is obvious. During the pandemic, I transferred my daughter from a public elementary school to STCA. I have noticed many differences between public schools and STCA. I am very satisfied with my daughter’s academic progress. Compared with her public school friends, she learned a lot more in this school. The teacher to student ratio is about 6 to 1 for each subject. As the only classical academy in the Santa Barbara area, STCA stands out with several unique teaching methods. The school emphasizes nature and hands-on experiences. There are field trips every week. Students go to the school ranch to grow plants and observe farm animals. The art class only teaches kids about art, but also art history. The Latin program is fantastic. 20% students got gold medals in the recent national Latin test which is an incredible achievement. Students are placed in different levels of classes based on their capability, not age. Kids are never bored because their brains are always challenged. The tuition is affordable to most families, which makes it the best value school in town. As a parent, I highly recommend this school.
