Ashley Hildebrand Both of my kids attended Love to Learn and I can’t say enough good things about it. My older son went into TK after Love to Learn and he was so prepared. I truly think he could have gone into kinder and he would have been ready. My younger son is still there and doesn’t want to leave when I pick him up. The teachers are so caring and well trained. It’s a great mix of play and learning. Highly recommend!

Tony Perez When we were relocating to SLO we had a lot to figure out, but after meeting Mrs. Kylee and Mrs. Alex, the easiest decision was enrolling our daughter in Love to Learn. We toured many preschools—and while there are many terrific choices—Love to Learn is one of a kind. From day one we were overwhelmed by the warmth, detailed care, and commitment to education from everyone on the staff we encountered. Our daughter’s teacher, Mr. David, radiates kindness, humor, and intelligence. My wife and I have been absolutely stunned by the leaps and bounds she has made in her education. My mother was a superintendent and my wife is a teacher, so I have been around many educators in my life and Mr. David is special. My wife teaches primary elementary school, and is constantly pointing out new skills that she sees our daughter use, that are already setting her on a path towards not only excelling in school, but loving it as well. As if that isn’t enough, Mr. David’s counterpart is the equally bright and empathetic Mrs. Stacey. She emotionally connects with the students on a level that is a delight to see. Even if my daughter is having a tough morning, she rushes into the classroom for circle time when she sees Mrs. Stacey singing with the other kids. All of the staff have instilled a zest for learning that follows my daughter home as she is eager to practice writing, counting, etc. Beyond the wonderful education, we’ve also gotten to experience the joy of seeing our daughter’s personality blossom as she develops friendships. When she began school, she was somewhat shy and isolated as a result of growing up during the pandemic. But, between birthday parties with her cohort, special school events like mobile zoos and pony visits, as well as Trunk-Or-Treat and other special events; Love to Learn has accelerated our daughter’s social-emotional growth. My wife and I cannot express enough how incredibly thankful we both are to have found this school, as it has positively affected our daughter’s future—as well as ours. In our humble opinion, no parent should even think twice before enrolling their children.

Laura Jacobsen My two boys have been enrolled at Love to Learn for 2 years now. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. There staff and curriculum has prepared my sons for kindergarten and TK. They are easy to communicate with, flexible, and patient with their students. My kids love their teachers and have made some wonderful friends. My third son is on the waitlist for when he turns two : )

Krista John This review is for their tiny wonders program. My daughter has grown tremendously at this school. Her social skills are improving and the separation anxiety is less and less. She is fostering so many skills and independence. I couldn’t be happier with her here. I can rest my mind knowing she’s well taken care of and loved in this program. Also, the curriculum couldn’t be better. 10/10

Morgan White This is a review for the daycare/preschool programs at SLOCA. Our experience has been phenomenal. My daughter started in Tiny Wonders during the pandemic and is finishing her first year in the preschool program right now. From start to finish, developmentally, she has flourished. We saw a noticeable change in her language as soon as she started, and since then, she has learned to share, use her words to talk about her feelings, work through conflict, put on/take off clothes, independently eat her lunch/snack, and more. She has developed friendships and relationships with the teachers. SLOCA is not only incredibly competent curriculum-wise, but they are amazing human beings. They are truly a family. When my dad died, I was greeted with hugs and tears and was told that I did not need to complete my volunteer hours that semester. My daughter’s teachers even came to her third birthday party. All of the staff, teachers, and admin are warm and caring. And the children feel this! Huge shoutouts to Miss Alana, Miss Debbie, Miss Sutton, Mrs. Molly, and especially the program director, Mrs. Eades. Incredible incredible humans. I have so much love for SLOCA and am excited for my son to start there in the fall!

Cristo The instructors are very knowledgeable. Alex is a little too technical, John was a lot easier to relate to and soak up information when I had him a couple of days Alex was out. Unfortunately the way they are set up for placing students to get their xrays done is a mess, which is the biggest part of the program in my opinion. For the out of town students from the central valley they only have about 4 locations. I am from Selma and they made me wait about a year to find me a place to get my chest xrays done, and the facility they put me in was in Bakersfield of all places. Almost 1.5 hrs away....and going there you are not guaranteed youre going to get a qualifying xray to mark off. There were days I was there for 8hrs and didnt get 1. Its a family owned business so there is sometimes family bickering there. The grandmother (jacky applebee) seems to undermine her grandson Alex. They have about 12 pre finals, and their final is a bit much at around 700 questions where the state exam is 150. 8 out of 10 students have to cheat the test in order to pass. If they like you they may allow someone whos passed the final to go into a closed room and help you....or if you get them a place to send their students they may pass you without even taking the the 700 question final. At the end of the day, I would not recommend this school to anyone

Graciela Torralva Definitely don’t recommend. So called teachers don’t teacher good. Everyone there is some how family so if you complain about something they won’t do anything. Everything about this so called school is unprofessional.

Carmine Please please do not attend this school. This school is known by employers and hospitals all throughout Kings county, Fresno county , and Tulare county for its bad reputation. No employer will hire anyone that attended this school especially for ultrasound. Any of the positive reviews are fake and are from People who work there. Go to any other school but this one if you really want a successful career

Margaret Fegan I like that these courses are offered for working people at a very reasonable price. I took the computer courses and would like to take Spanish. Unfortunately, I didnt have a good teacher. Intro to Word and Excel were supposed to be courses for beginners, but the teacher went a mile a minute, a d if you didnt have some previous experience, you would be lost. Im a senior and a newbie. Fortunately, she did write good programs..so I wound up going g to the courses, fumbling around a s going home and working at my own speed. My daughter has gone to your parent participation program, however, and LOVED it. She learned a lot and my granddaughter, an only child, learned to interact well with other children.
