Elvira Caudillo New Life Church is beautiful. Since my first time here almost 3 years ago to now this Church has never let me down in experiencing God s love for me and his mercy. The people are so welcoming, the praise music is uplifting and touches my very heart. Restrooms are stocked and clean. Free coffee is delicious. Pastors are down to heart and full of Gods praise. You never feel like an outsider here. Come and join a happy loving place to worship and praise our heavenly father, all are welcome

Moore Joseph Michael (Infinite Expanding Bubble) Beautiful Catholic church located in Bakersfield California with a large congregation of faithful. A wonderful priests and deacons. Has a very beautiful and reverent worship. Highly recommend stopping here for the Holy Mass.

Crystal Hall Valley Bible Fellowship is an amazing spiritual experience and you can learn so much about God and Lord Jesus Christ there. There are many great leaders inside and outside the church that serve the lord with their whole being. You can find small groups and there is a Bible study there on mondays plus they have a recovery meeting called set free. I even had the privilege of being a greeter on sundays as a volunteer. And to serve the lord in their street ministries outreach. It is truly a positive environment and if you are feeling down and out you simply go to church and someone will pray for you without a second thought in mind

Ricardo C Been coming here a couple years now. Even when I feel like something went wrong, I talk to the people involved or open up to someone about it. I make sure others feel welcome around me because its a team effort. If I didnt like something then I make sure I fix myself in the same manner and be an outward example of who lives in me. I thank this entire church for being who they are. Im still growing in Christ and on of my daughters has behavioral issues. They minister to her every chance they get and communicate with me so I can talk with her and guide her on the right path. This place has counseling, celebrate recovery, and various groups available to different ages, men or women groups, mixed groups, online groups, you name it. Please if you had a bad experience, just talk about it with a leader. If you feel judged, please think again. Spend time with people. This is an amazing church organization. I cant wait to see how it continues to grow

Deacon David Rodriguez Beautiful Catholic church and the grounds are well kept. Office Manager is great and easy to work with. The Priest is the best and brings a lot to the church. Saturday evening Mass @ 5:30 Sunday Mass at 7:30, 9:30 & 11:30

Oscar Bravo This church says it wants new members and more people in service, but that is not going well for two reasons. First, there is a strong dividing line between new members and "OG" members. You will be treated differently because you were "not there from the beginning". New members will have a hard time feeling fully accepted because of this cultural division in the church, and it does not seem to go away even after several years of attending. Second, the church employs some of its members full and part time, so working for the church is at least part their livelihood. This creates territorial divisions, as no one likes their livelihood threatened by a volunteer who can perform the same work without being paid. This results in a "caste system" for the membership and volunteers based on how long you have been at the church or if you are employed by the church. The OG members act as if youre missing something they have, and you can never be as "full" a member as they are. Gossip is often a problem, especially when new members get too popular among the OG members and staff. This church feels more like an exclusive club for the founding members, rather than a church where one can find the acceptance and forgiveness of Christ.

ornelasdragon Im new here in Bakersfield, however Im a practicing lifelong Catholic so this is my third Sunday mass and I love this place. If youre Catholic and looking for a place of worship I highly recommend you stop by. The priest are kind and knowledgeable, Im very happy I found Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Stop by this coming Sunday for mass but get there early because it fills up quick. See you soon.
