Lisowski Liz I could never say enough good things about Summer Beauty, Summer the owner, and my lash tech Lucky. I have been going to Summer beauty for a while. This was after trying 5 different lash places in Pasadena. I have also received other services like a manicure and pedicure from one of the nail techs. From the very beginning Summer has treated me like a family member. Everyone in the salon is welcoming and is very communicative. I currently work as a chef for some of the top restaurants and catering events in LA. I can’t put on mascara because the heat of the stove will melt it away. I also get photographed constantly. Lucky- my lash tech makes me look beautiful while still being able to work hard in the kitchen. One time I even burned my eyelashes off and Summer got me in to have them fixed the very next day. The reason why I went to Summer was because I was experiencing irritation, inconsistent results, and sometimes over the top work at all the other places I went to. This place listens to you. Also- my optometrist said that I had some of the cleanest lashes she’s ever seen and she doesn’t usually condone false eye lashes but mine are the exception. Honestly- I can’t even tell they are there. I don’t trust anyone to do my lashes at this point except Lucky. Summer is also always telling me about new products and was so willing to do my rainbow lashes for my burning man 10 year wedding vow renewal. Lastly- the massages at the end of service are everything- especially for a chef on her feet 10 plus hours a day! Don’t hesitate- Give Summer Beauty a call!

Team LP I am loyal to Bonsoir Nails because I have been going to them for about 18 years and Tina and Susan are the ONLY people I trust with my eyebrows. They have downsized and moved locations, but I still get the same comfy massage chair and attentive, careful service. They take pride in their work and will go to great lengths to make sure you are happy.

Mark Garcia Really good work and very nice people. I usually call ahead to make an appointment as they can get busy. They take great care of my Moms nails and sometimes I get my nails cleaned up after long trips. They do a great job and very friendly.

Jenna Manheimer Excellent pedicure! I got the Special Pedicure ($40) that includes callus removal and a five minute massage, and was so impressed by the attention to detail and impeccable service. The young lady made my feet so smooth and soft, while the polish and shape of the nails are perfect. I did have to ask her to round my nails after she had already made them square and she kindly changed them.

Rosezetta Upshaw This was probably the best manicure I’ve ever had. So perfect and shiny and so GENTLE! I came 3-4 times before writing a review. I had a different person each time. Everyone was really good. Amy is the best! There are 2 Amys lol Ask for Amy with the short hair. She is very sweet and friendly and an absolute perfectionist and so very gentle with removing the powder dip and filing my nails. Thank you Amy! I also love that they have self-serve water bottles and snacks bags (doritos, nutter butter, etc) in the front. I rarely eat junk food but I still think it’s a nice touch. Maybe add a little trail mix for me. :) This place is recently under new ownership. I stopped coming years ago when the previous owners ran it due to a nail tech having a bad attitude. These new owners are doing a great job and I’m happy I can write them a glowing review. The prices are reasonable. $50 powder dip. $28 pedicure. I got the $40 upgraded pedicure and I appreciate that it did come with a lot of extras: scrub, cream, hot stone massage , hot towel wrap, etc. to make it significantly different than the basic pedicure.

arturo alfaro Honestly first time getting a manicure done due to my job making my hands always dry and crusty but hands down Montse gave me new hands after the manicure. I have never seen my hands like this before thank you for what you do. Her suit looks amazing. I will definitely recommend her!!!!

Ty Papaya Super friendly ladies and nice service. I went for a $50 acrylset with a "classic" pedicure $39. Very thorough and I like the outcome.

marcia kostos This business was recently sold. Used to be TK Nails. Tammy was the owner and it was a great salon. Been going there for 25 years. Now has new owner and I won’t go back. English is definitely second language. Had a mani pedi. I was told my bill was $48, I paid, and as I’m walking out the door all the gals are yelling stop…wait…. Then told I owed $10 more dollars. I didn’t bother questioning it as no one would comprehend anyway, so I just paid the extra. Not worth the effort to me.although super convenient, I’ll find somewhere else. The whole salon just isn’t up to par with the former establishment in my opinion.

Rebecca Avanesian Crystal did a great job with my birthday nails! We both loved them so much. I got a GelX set with the design for $100 total. I recommend making an appointment. The prices here are the same as my old place in Old Town, and this salon is better! Nice techs, clean space, cute interior. Plus, free street parking!
