5 /5 Graciela Rodriguez: My prayers were answered with U.Me.IV I feel so blessed to be a part of this church and grow in fellowship with my church family. This church is open and welcoming to ALL. It does not matter what religion you belong to because what matters the most is your relationship with God and radiating that love and light to all. What matters is growing in fellowship! Some of the things I participate in include: study hours, Sunday service, book club, leadership meetings and Discover SB. I love going to study hours to study in a quiet space and eat or drink unlimited coffee for FREE. I also get to use the printer (including color) for free. Sunday service starts at 11 (I get to sleep in) and I walk into a room full of love and learn about the word of God. I mean really learn. I dont just show up and sit through a sermon; we talk about it and process what we learn. We share joys and prayer requests. A lot of our work is centered on social justice and equity. The book club is new and currently we are reading a book titled "Becoming Nicole" its about twins (both identified male at birth) and one twin grows into her true self. I attend the leadership meetings once a month and everyone is welcome to participate. We are given a voice at this church. We are able to vote and contribute to the decision-making. This church is definitely inclusive. Discover SB will begin shortly. We will be going on different outings in the SB area. This is so exciting! I have lived here my entire life and I havent been to all the locations on the list. I look forward to meeting more people in nature and surrounding myself with great people. My partner Bernadette Rubio and I feel incredibly blessed and happy.
