1 /5 Jeff Merriman: My appointment for a CT scan was at 8:40am, which I was right on time for. Its now 9:30 and Im still sitting here waiting to be called back. I was told "shell be up in a minute to get you" 20 minutes ago.

1 /5 Vik Karious: 1) My Doctor ordered blood labs on a Friday. On Monday they called me and said the lady forgot to turn the labs in and they went bad. I had to come back in to retake the labs. 2) At an appointment, my Doctor said he wont be prescribing any anxiety medication to any patients anymore and recommended a pain management specialist for anxiety. I never heard back. FYI, I do not take any painkillers. When I called to check in, the lady said he did not remember saying that. I asked her to ask him what I should do for anxiety since he forgot. I never heard back. 3) My Doctor sent me to a Neurologist for migraines and they could not get me in for 6 months. I asked if they could move me up since Im moving out of state before then and my migraines were becoming worse and my urgent care visits for them more frequent. I never heard back. I called in to check and they said they would leave another note. I never heard back. 4) My Doctor ordered a CT scan of my brain for my migraines. They never called to schedule the appointment, I had to call them. Radiology called me a week later saying they wanted to schedule the CT scan. I told them I had already made the appointment and they said, "Oh yes, I see that here, Im sorry" and hung up. I checked the day before the CT scan online (on MyChart) and my appointment was the same as when I made it. When I showed up the next day, it had been changed to an hour later without my consent or notifying me. *There are many other examples of neglect, disorder, or just general incompetence, but I think you get the idea. If there is a quality control department of some kind at this facility, they are not doing their job. Because clearly, no one in any department at this facility can function on an efficient level whatsoever. Thank God Im moving....

5 /5 Terry Kennington: Ive seen some negative reporting on this site regarding UC Davis in Rocklin. I cannot disagree nor discount their experience but usually youre not in the best of moods when youre at a doctors office. Maybe its the white robe or jacket syndrome. However Ive been to this facility many times for myself since my doctor left my local area an hour away and he is now here. I take my mother usually three times maybe four times a quarter and I found them to be nothing but extremely polite and helpful. Maybe its because my mom is of that age where a little bit more attentiveness is appropriate. This facility is probably one of the most easily accessible in the UC Davis system. We tried Davis the city in Sacramento. We find it easier to get to this location and we always get the best service that we can ask for from a physician or a group of physicians. My family room complained about another issue and this office got us in the next day. When does that happen? I fully believe UC Davis is the best when it comes to care in our area. Sutter North is a good facility but I would say its at least a distant second compared to this particular facility which theres not that many people there when you go in for your appointment. Oftentimes you see your physician before your appointment while youre still filling out paperwork. Empathy and/or sympathy is profound in that facility because they really do care about you. I know care is money in some cases but they dont leave me with the impression that they only care about the ladder. If youre able to see this facility I would recommend that you do. I will drive my family members anywhere I can within 2 hours to get her the best care. Its about an hour there and back for me but its worth it. Sometimes you have to try 5 times before you say yes or no and thats really tough to assess when you are not feeling well. I guess you have to understand My meaning search for 10 times rather than 5. I dont think I can be disappointed nine times and on my 10th visit I leave which means most likely Ill be done in three or less.. Just my opinion I hope everybody whos not feeling well gets better soon.
