Bridgeway Christian Church

Brooke Jocee When I think of Bridgeway, I think of God’s heart for His people. Bridgeway is a church that truly values the Kingdom of God, and It is evident by the way they treat God’s children. They lead with love, grace, kindness, and zeal. No matter what stage of life you are in, you will find a place here. I appreciate their bible-based teachings, the numerous classes they offer, the outreach ministry, the ministries they offer to children, and all the many ways they encourage fellowship and community. At the end of our announcements video every weekend, I hear someone say “we want you to feel loved and like you have a home here”. Well, that is exactly how I feel. God is with this church and I pray that more people can experience the love I’ve experienced since I started going to church here.

Harvest Community Church

Ben Pederson Amazing People! We were looking for a Home Church for over 5 years. We tried all the BIG churches around Roseville and never really connected with anyone. After 2 services we knew we had found the right place for our family. The pastor and his staff are genuine real people and make you feel right at home. The Praise & Worship Band is upbeat and talented and the Youth Programs are geared at training young people to make an impact in this broken world. Also Harvest Community Church provides for the less fortunate in our community by operating a Food Closet every Tuesday to feed the people of Roseville and surrounding areas. They also sponsor many missionaries around the globe. If you are looking for a great Church to attend in Roseville, Harvest Community Church is the place to visit.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Marsha Keller Always a joy when we can meet together. This particular visit was a sweet experience of service, community and worship in these difficult times for churches. There was a sidewalk drawing display, wonderful local sourcing of seniority rolls and hot cocoa. Good people making the best of social distancing and yet connection. Everyone was masked, and sharing happy eyes and waves. It is a sacred space when community comes together with one heart.

Life Community Church

Debbie Carapiet I just retired from a large church and wanted something smaller where I can ride my bike. I came to Life Community Church and was met by Laurie (executive pastor) who introduced me to guest service gal and Pastor Kyle. Both welcomed me with a hug (at separate times). I also received a hand written note from pastor thanking me for my 25 years of service at a different church. I decided at that point, this would be my church. I also decided I must get involved to start to meet people so I asked to be a greeter. I am starting to get to know people and enjoy our church. One thing Kyle said in a message that I have shared with others is "life doesnt get easier, we just get better at doing hard" or something similar to that. My wisdom to anyone church shopping, try the same church 3 Sundays in a row before you move on to the next church.

Bayside Church - Adventure Campus

Daniel The church held a Halloween event and parade. Since it was hosted by a church, there were hardly scary costumes, unlike typical parades. I expected some Christian messages since it was organized by a large church, but there were none, which was a bit disappointing. However, aside from that, it seemed like a nice event to attend with kids.

Grace Bible Roseville

R.C. Dozier My family and I have been visiting GBC for a few weeks now. A few preliminary remarks before my main comments. The church building is a lovely white chapel with plenty of parking. There are two main entrances into the church. We entered the church from the front entrance yet many people enter the building from the side entrance. The church affirms the Five Solas of the Protestant reformation (e.g. Calvinism). The Bible translation used by GBC is the English Standard Version (ESV) and/or New American Standard Bible (NASB). My family and I were quickly welcomed for our first visit. The deacons provided us with visitor welcome packets full of information about GBC. We were greatly impressed by the expository preaching, congregational worship (it really is the whole church singing), and the authenticity of Gods people at GBC. Pastor Rod Santiagos preaching is exquisitely expositional. Pastor Santiago preaches verse by verse, with detail given to the original Biblical languages, to effectively communicate the full counsel of God. He exemplifies proper homiletics to the glory of God (i.e. sermons flow from exegesis to biblical theology with practical application). He exemplifies holistic preaching. He applies the Bible holistically to the person with the intent God transforms both the mind and heart with the glorious gospel of Christ. The theological richness and reflection of Pastor Santiagos messages are, by the power of the Holy Spirit, convicting, challenging, correcting, and heart-changing. There is proper balance at GBC, in the sense that, biblical theology births doxology and evidences good works. I think GBCs practice of communion is richly developed/nuanced. Any given person is warned with serious conviction that communion is a sign of the New Covenant, Christs substitutionary death for the penalty of sin, and His imminent return for authentic Christians (that divides/separates believers and unbelievers). Communion is not a trifling practice nor is it a ritual; rather, it communicates/relates symbolically a direct connection (e.g. self-identifying) with the gospel. The worship consists of doctrinally enriched classic and contemporary hymns/songs. The style of music does not feel like a Christian rock concert where the vocalist is the focus. Quite the opposite. The whole church congregation echoes in songs of praise to God. The church unity is evident in the corporate singing. The lyrics promote praise, reflection, and celebration. The people at GBC express authenticity, transparency and security. Id recommend anyone to visit and/or join. Blessings on you.
