1 /5 Marlena Kandell: Super disappointed. Avoid the tech Mary. I’ve been going once a month for almost a year and didn’t mind the price because I’ve always had great experiences and these nails usually last!! And for the most part I haven’t had a tech I didn’t like. But my most recent visit was not great and then my nails lasted TWO WEEKS. Usually they last 4 weeks at a minimum and again I don’t mind paying the money but TWO WEEKS?! I might as well go to a local salon and pay less. These recent nails were SOFT and peeled off at two weeks to the day. I’m so upset my nails and cuticles are allllll ripped up and I have to get a whole new set now. I contacted them MULTIPLE times, and their final answer was to review their “7 day policy” which is to come back the first week for any issues. But mine was two weeks… which is two weeks shorter than usual for me. Honestly all the girls I know that go last about the same amount of time. And nothing. I’m sad and disappointed because now I have to pay more for a full set of when clearly these were not cured correctly. I don’t want to have to find a new place but this is terrible business. Avoid the tech Mary.

5 /5 Nicole Wagenseller: Amazing place to get your nails done! So worth the extra price because every time you come you will get the best treatment! I’ve had my nails done by almost everyone at the salon and never been disappointed! Truly amazing work and worth every penny! Aigul did a great job with my shorter style today! They can do anything! I love this salon and will never go anywhere else! Aigul is my girl and I had to come on here again to say how amazing this place is. They do the most perfect job making sure the shape, design and style is the best it can get! I will upload some photos below of the amazing quality and crisp nails!

5 /5 Dalton Cooper: Absolutely the best manicure I have ever had. My nail artist Aigul is absolutely the best in San Diego. She is so lovely and can do the most amazing nail designs. She is so careful and makes sure I have the best experience. She is a perfectionist and my nail shape has never looked better at any other salon. Honestly would highly highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the best manicure you’ve ever had. My cuticles look so clean and crisp. Truly the best experience do not go anywhere else, Best Nails truly is THE. BEST. Thank you Aigul!

1 /5 Abi Shotland: Two stars because my nails are pretty. As far as the rest… I had Asel as my nail artist. When clipping my cuticles, she repeatedly clipped live skin. I kept telling her she was hurting me, and she said I just had sensitive cuticles. Whether or not that is true, if you can feel pain, you’re clipping too deep. I even started bleeding from multiple fingers and she kept going. I can see the cuts in my skin. When I did start bleeding, she used the same wipe and repeatedly touched it to the bottle, touched droppers to my broken skin, etc. This is incredibly unsanitary and spreads bloodborne diseases. I showed her my two pointer fingers and said I wanted all my nails that shape. She immediately filed those two nails to skinny remnants of what they once were. At the end, she told me again I have sensitive cuticles and need to use oil. This appeared to be her absolving herself of guilt for not understanding how to properly trim cuticles without cutting into living skin. An hour later and my fingers are still stinging from where she cut me. I tipped because I felt uncomfortable and bad not tipping. Their tip options only allow 15%, 20%, or 30%, with no option for custom tip. Update: they all started lifting from the free edge after two days. Every single one of my nail beds is scabbed and bloody. Update 2: reached management and they declined refund, stating they offer a 7-day fix and follow proper sterilization protocols. They completely refuted my experience, ignoring the fact that causing physical injury can’t be fixed with a 7-day guarantee. One star.
