1 /5 Mariann Del Pino: I used to leave with a smile before it was sold, I was happy years ago w/ old owner. I posted a positive review before being seen recently on 7/16/2025 because I expected the same, sadly that didnt happen. I had called for an oil change, I told Gil on the phone on 7/15/2025, that I needed a smog & an oil change but I knew they didnt do those anymore, he looked me up and stated he was able to do both an oil change & smog. I made an appointment for 2pm for 7/16/2025. So, on 7/16/2025I showed up 20 minutes early because the day before he wasnt sure if he could get me done. (Im off wk at 115pm.) Anyways, I walk in an Gil and some other guy sat there, Caucasian guy, short hair. They then tell me they cant see me at all for anything because they are too swamped. I was shocked because they should have gave me a call before letting me show up to turn me away. Then they haggled about maybe changing my oil. So they agree to that. I wait nicely in the waiting room. The younger Caucasian guy comes in & shows me a very dirty cabin air filter, them says he doesnt have one, practically puts it in my face. I tell them please just leave it alone. Ill replace it myself. I have had the 2017 Toyota Corolla LE red for about 3 years. I had no idea I was getting a free unaproved full inspection that took way longer than a smog check would have taken. the Caucasian younger guy very mater of factly states all my tires are bald immediately right away after I had been there for 2 seconds. I said no, the front ones are pretty bad I know but not the back and I plan on getting them changed soon. After he is done I go to the counter after being there from 140 pm to 446 pm. I get a text message with no explanation other than read it and I asked him to print it because I was tired, and he says he will and doesnt and, then he just wants me to insert my card & pay and keeps insisting, I stated that Im gonna mark, deny or approve on these items in text before Im paying. After I pay he still never prints it up for me, he hands me my keys, I walk outside expecting to see my car and its not there, I dont see my car at all. I walk inside again and ask where my car is, he says to the left half hearted with a cocky attitude. I go out there and said to myself oh my freaking God, where is my car. I found it on the street unlocked in downtown Sacramento California. He also didnt put my glove compartment back together and it was off the hooks and a nightmare. I am so upset about this, because I have a 2017 Toyota Corolla LE red sparkly, and people want to steal them locked up and thats why I have a bar lock I put on my steering wheel to deter people from stealing my car. There are tons of homeless downtown, and, I have very important documents in my glove compartment. Also this place does a free inspection of your car to try and scam you out of money. Im a female and they thought I was stupid and that they could take advantage of me and try and replace unnecessary parts, and, charge out the door $600.00 for a set of 4 tires. A lot of women know how to work on their cars these days, and, all this does is makes us very upset and its insulting, we are very offended by this. Im not happy about not being informed and they should have asked my permission first before tearing my car upside down. Leaving it like that, not putting it back together, trying to rip me off. I miss the old owners because they were amazing. This place totally sucks now. If I could give zero stars I would. I feel violated because they went and, inspected my car from top to bottom AND DIDNT GET MY PERMISSION FIRST!!! Just because its free, you need to get permission first. Also, when you take someone car apart for Gods sake put it back together and leave the dirty air filter in or put in trunk if they want to keep it if you dont have one to replace it. And, for Gods sake dont leave peoples cars on the street unlocked, and it should have been parked backed in by the office for me and not on the street at corned at risk of being hit, tickets, stolen. Never going back.
