AJ Cole I’ve been going to Binh’s Family Haircare for around 15 years, and Binh feels like family at this point. She’s warm, welcoming, and treats everyone who visits her salon with genuine care. Her prices are reasonable, and her skill is unmatched. After hundreds of haircuts over the years, I can say I’ve always left feeling happy and satisfied. I honestly don’t know what I’ll do when she retires or moves on—she’s truly one of a kind. Thank you, Binh, for everything you do! I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Delia Todd Great haircut at a reasonable price. Mens haircut is $20. The salon is nice and clean, and it is open on Sunday. Nancy is very polite and professional, and she pays great attention to detail. I was able to arrange an appointment via text message. I will definitely return for my next haircut.

Tara Robenalt Lee is an exceptional colorist and stylist! She created a beautiful highlight that complemented my natural hair color beautifully! I do not want to color or hide my incoming gray and she matched a blonde tone beautifully. Eliminated the yellows from a previous highlight. Daniella did a fantastic job on my gel french manicure. The base color is a beautiful glossy pink.

She gave me a fantastic service, leaving my hair feeling fresh, bouncy, and totally revived after a wash and blow-dry. The price is very reasonable, and it’s definitely worth it if youre looking for a little pampering without the hassle of doing it yourself. Just a tip—dont compare prices with what youd pay back home; remember, youre in the USA! This place is a great choice, and Paolo will make your day better, guaranteed. Disha Sanjanwala Served by Allen who is extremely experienced and an expert at his craft. He gave me a chic style with layers and my hair is now very voluminous and manageable. Loved the relaxing spacious vibe of the place and his warm hospitality.

Linh Tran Honestly didnt know what to expect, but John was awesome. Great quick haircut for super cheap. Surprisingly did a great fade and understood how my hair grew out! Will come back!

Libby Yatsu Ive been going to Jamie at Maison Deux for many years now, and every time I leave I feel amazing (whether its getting any of these done: root color, cut, balayage). Amazing cuz of how I look and feel but also its just a great place to spend a couple hours too. All of the stylists are so welcoming, and there is a definite friendly vibe had by all. Jamie is of the best, and her work says it all! She always greets me with a smile, and I just love how down-to-earth she is. Another fun perk too - getting served tea, coffee, water - while youre waiting for dye processing etc. Oh and the salon, now under Jamie, has upgraded all of the hair washing stations. I was literally in heaven. They are these fancy beds basically so youre lying flat instead of having to angle your head downwards. Felt so much better on my back. I highly recommend Maison Deux for the work the stylists do and the friendly atmosphere. You cant beat the fact too that its right in downtown San Mateo so you can run errands and grab lunch/dinner at your favorite spot there too!

Nina B. Potsiadlo Vera kindly made time in her schedule on short notice to style my hair for a party. She had great ideas based on my hair type & length and she did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend her and go to her again.
