Eric Christopher I attended St Johns Lutheran School in 1959-60 with my 2 sisters. Pastor Atrops was the pastor and his son Art Atrops was in my 3rd grade class. Mr. Bob Heckman was my 3rd grade teacher and he was a real disciplinarian. Mr Visser was my sisters 5th grade teacher and he was a lot nicer. In 1985, I enrolled my sons in Emmaus Lutheran School in Alhambra, CA and the 8th grade teacher was Mr. Heckman. Oh, the stories we shared. Support your LCMS Lutheran School! It makes a difference. Amen

Gold Star This is a beautiful, clean, and well-kept church. You can feel the love people have for their church here. There are always amazing flower arrangements that show the love and care of the parishioners. Ive seen one of the priests also getting involved, arranging the beautification and maintenance of the church with workers or volunteers. The priests are all super welcoming and care so much for us. I cant have enough of this amazing church. Sure there are flaws like the website is not updated, the office and the gift shop (which is really nice) are not always open when they should be, but thats due to lack of volunteers and people getting involved. However, despite its imperfections, I love, love, love this church!! Its been there when I have needed it the most, including the caring priests. I deeply thank God for this church.
