Alex Zinik My only regret is that I didnt find Kristi sooner in my life! I now have the hair of my dreams and I couldnt be happier. After years of low self esteem and wearing uncomfortable unnatural looking clip ins, Kristi worked her magic, spun me around in the chair, and when I looked in the mirror I was happy with what I saw for the first time in my adult life. Kristi is so incredibly talented, experienced & knowledgable at her craft. She took the time to explain everything in depth to me during my first visit so I knew exactly what to expect when she applied my extensions. She is honest, acts with integrity, and truly has her clients best interest in mind. She truly is an artist. She is intentional l about every single hair she places on your head. She used several colors to create the perfect blend for me and placed my extensions in a way that went with the natural pattern of the way my hair grows. My extensions feel and move in a way thats completely natural. Kristi did such an amazing job with them Ive been able to throw my hair in a pony or high bun without any sign of my extensions showing. Its the best feeling ever!! And to top it all off, Kristi is one of those people with just overall good uplifting energy & positivity. I am so grateful I found her.

Dynamic Flow Physical Therapy (Owner) I have been seeing Erin for a number of years for cut and color! She is so kind and talented. I was terrified to color my hair after saving it from cold capping after chemo treatment since it’s super fragile at that time and she was creative and supportative to come up with solution so I could feel like myself without damaging my hair as much. Now I’m back to my normal highlights and she does great job blending and allowing me to go months without needing to re-color- my goal! Highly recommend the salon as well which has great stylists and beautiful/clean salon located in midtown.

Elizabeth Abergel Hair Apothecary is the best ! I have known Amanda for years and I highly recommend her for anyone especially women with thick , kinky hair. She is very patient when blow drying my hair and do such as good job. Her honestly and excellent service is why I stayed with her for years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you’re looking for a new hairstylist . She is excellent and will become your friend . She also remember your birthday and special occasions in your life So blessed to have Hair Apothecary!

Ashley B I have been going to Paris for the last few years and she outdoes herself every time! She easily understands what I am looking for and always executes it! Not only is she extremely talented, but she is one of the sweetest people I know :) I have been to salons in the past, where I have felt like my hairdresser just wanted to hurry and get out of there. This is not the case with Paris at all. She takes her time, has lovely conversations with you, and makes the whole experience pleasant and relaxing. Naos Wilbrink Best haircut since I came to the states. I’ve been going to my hairdresser in Amsterdam, NL for 20 years. She knew exactly how to cut it. 3 years ago I moved to the States and I’ve been looking for a great hairdresser ever since. And I believe I’ve found her in Beatrice. Finally I feel like my hair goes where it’s suppose to go. Without the use of product the cut is perfect. Maybe it’s her background in Hollywood filmstudio’s, maybe her years of training and her talent. I’d absolutely want everyone to go to her.

Caitlyn Davis I found Vain through a quick Google search and was immediately pulled in from the pictures. I spoke with M over the phone to try and book a same day appointment for a color correction and color application, and she was able to schedule me with Justine! When you walk into Vain you’re greeted with such good energy and a beautiful wallpaper all throughout the salon, everything is purposefully placed and the salon itself is very clean and organized. I met with Justine and we immediately hit it off. She understood exactly what I wanted and had the skill set to hit the mark! I was so thoroughly impressed with Justine’s skill and how patient and caring she was working with my hair. I went from copper orange to blonde within a few hours. Fellow salon staff were extremely friendly and the overall experience was so relaxing it was a true “day at the salon” as you often see in movies. Extremely cost effective and it seems this salon has several staff that specialize in certain styles/treatments/services that Vain can do it all. I am beyond satisfied with my results and can’t wait to come back to Justine for a touch up!

Celia U I got a haircut and highlights done by Lisa and she did a terrific job. I have very thick, long curly hair and she helped style my haircut so it would frame my face better. She also accommodated my highlights to bring out my new haircut and shape my face better. I will definitely keep coming back here. She was very nice and gave me great tips for my hair care.
