Doreen Van Leeuwen Lets start with the sanctuary...built in 1864, the entire interior is of redwood. Now imagine the millions of prayers that have infused these lovely boards. As the sun shifts, the light moves across the stained glass, highlighting one, then another colorful panorama, adding to the sense of the HOLY here. Our new rector Stephen Shaver is youthful, brilliant, thoughtful, devoted and a gifted preacher. We have 3 options for worship. Everyone is welcome: this is an inclusive community! Ralph Avalon I cant remember when I felt more included and a part of a community. This church epitomizes the love, grace, knowledge, understanding, mercy, and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. The pastor is young, vibrant, and extremely knowledgeable. The elders and deacons are incredible. There is an entire Latino contingent of the church that celebrates with the English speaking contingent in their own language with the same message. The childrens programs are amazing, the music is top-notch, the feeling of family and inclusion is beyond description. I cannot speak more highly of any church in any city, in any country.
