1 /5 Joyboi: I received a voicemail from Beatrice, but every time she called, it was from a private number. Initially, I thought it was a scam call, so I didn’t answer. Once I realized it was from Saint Vincent Athanasius, I left two voicemails at the office where Beatrice is located at St. Athanasius, as provided by Frank from Saint Joseph Parish, but never received a call back.
I would like to know when Beatrice plans to contact me. On March 14, 2025, Frank provided me with the number for the main office of St. Athanasius, and I called it that same day. I spoke with someone named Margarita, who informed me that Beatrice is actually located elsewhere, and the correct number to reach her is at the office where she works at St. Athanasius. I have been calling and leaving voicemails there since March 4, 2025.
Today, I finally received a call from someone named Art, who set up a three-way call with Beatrice. I politely asked her if she had received my voicemails, and she completely went off the rails. She started yelling and said, “Oh, it doesn’t matter, the communication doesn’t matter, I don’t owe you any explanation.” Art was on the call and heard everything.
I do not feel comfortable working with Beatrice. She is not paying out of her own pocket to help people in need—she is just a volunteer. The least she could do is be kind and courteous.
