5 /5 Amy Lowe: My family instantly felt at home here. The teaching on our first Sunday was amazing and then we later found out it was Bob, the Children’s Pastor. We absolutely loved it and he brought the Word. Matt, the Lead Pastor, taught the next week and he was also awesome. We loved how he came and introduced himself to us and tried connecting us with other people our age, in a similar stage of life. We’d only been going a few weeks and his family had lunch with us and took the time to get to know us, both of these Pastors cultivate such a familial environment of love and truth. I love that I never felt like you were just told what you wanted to hear to make you feel good, they unapologetically teach the Bible without fear. This church, more than any other my family has ever been a part of, truly felt like family (we sadly had to move out of state for work) and I think that is 100% because these Pastors care about their flock. They are invested and some of the most authentic and genuine people I’ve ever known. Their love for the Lord is so apparent. The children’s ministry is also great! Bob is always doing fun things with the kids. Rob, the youth pastor is a sweet soul. The music here is also always on point. We loved the selection of songs they played while we were there, mostly contemporary, and a few hymns here and there. Really wish more churches would take the example of River Valley by teaching Gods Word and loving people in truth.
