Grazyna I could not be happier and I highly recommend Arthur at Arthur Sebastian Hair Salon. I moved to San Francisco 3 years ago and finding Arthur made my transition so much easier. I have blond hair that darkened and grayed with age and it requires great skills to make it look lighter and natural. After loosing my trusted hair dresser of many years due to the pandemic, I had several new stylists attempting to and failing to achieve this look , thus making me quite unhappy. Arthur had performed magic and brought my hair back to my youthful natural color. He used appropriate highlights with the right shade of toner and created my new personal "California Blond" look. He is a talented professional, focused on achieving clients goals and making the process look effortless. I trust Arthur with my hair and I enjoy our stimulating conversations, an added bonus to a fun experience I always look forward to. Arthur is quite busy, so plan in advance and book your appointments at his chic boutique on Union Street early!

Negar Shaban I got a haircut from Gilbert and Im super satisfied with it. I have long wavy/ kinda curly-also coarse frizzy (but still beautiful ) heavy middle-eastern hair and lots of it. I got a v shape hair cut with long layers. He was so careful to not cut my hair shorter than I wanted. Also he took the weight off which feels so good and looks stylish. Hes also a good company; a good listener especially when it comes to your hair requests. I had a great evening having my hair cut at Salon Mio Mio and chatting with Gilbert. Ill go there again.

Niall Sohan This goes out to Dani — I’ve been coming to Dani for years for my cut and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. She’s super versatile, gives the best men’s haircut, and her wash / head massage is heavenly.

Mark Wheeler Tanya is talented and experienced and it shows. I get my hair dyed blue and cut into punky shapes and she has the vision and execution to make it look better than anything I could even imagine myself. I have wavy/curly hair which some stylists dont understand how to work with but she gets it. Her skill with bleach and dye makes my hair color last multiple times longer than anyone else has ever been able to get. She does great work on more traditional styles too as Ive seen with other friends and customers.

Ethan Mancil Hector did a great job helping me tame my quarantine hair lol. I was very apprehensive to cut it all off, and I know my hair is quite curly and difficult to cut. I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted either. Hector worked his magic and I was definitely not disappointed - A+

Brett Houser Beautiful salon on Nob Hill complete with 17 rooms, all individually glassed off with private ventilation and AC for every room. A sight to see. Very classy.

Kate Mercado Kat was great! I had henna damage to repair and some roots to cover and she blended everything seamlessly. I love it! My color is “ash 8”

Kona Yee Maisonry is one of THE BEST salons in San Francisco and I’ve tried a lot!! All the stylists are so sweet, they listen to what you want, and they are sooo knowledgeable about hair health. One of the main reasons I switched salons and decided to come here was because I wanted my hair to get healthy and Charlene did the most amazing job making that my priority. My hair is the healthiest it’s ever been and I can’t recommend Charlene enough. She can do it all but I don’t think I’ve met anyone else that can do a liver in brunette better!! I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a super cute, quality, hair color.
