4 /5 Cassie Stuurman: Got a gel manicure, came out to $25 plus tip. Really good price but the color selection was a little limited. They did a good job and its been a few days and they havent chipped or peeled yet.

2 /5 Carolyn Holloway: Yesterday, I had a very negative experience at the nail salon located in the High street strip mall. I called ahead of time as usual to schedule the appointment and told Ttinh Tonnu that I wanted the regular pedicure at $30. She said OK and to come in now. I told her that I would be there within the next 30 minutes. Upon arrival I didnt have to wait more than 10 minutes before someone was ready to service me. I told the lady that wanted the regular pedicure for $30. She said okay. As she was performing her duties she began asking me several times if I wanted her to put gel for an extra $5. I continued to tell her that I didnt want gel. I finally got feed up with her pestering me about giving consent to add gel until I explained to her that I have answered you "no, I do not want gel. No means no." Wgen she finished and I was about to give her $30, she said oh, its $35 because you asked for gel to be added. I disputed her claim that I asked for gel. She told me that I always get gel when I come. I disputed again that I never get gel and Im not paying for gel. I found myself getting so angry until I had changed my demeanor to hostility and rude tone. I repeated several times more that "I told you no, I did want gel." All of a sudden she looked at the owner/manager, and said " for you this time will be $30. I paid her and she directly me to pay the owner/ manager. I paid the owner and she gave me change out of $40 ( 2x$20). I left quietly and without leaving a customary tip. I think that I am going to have to find another nail salon to get my pedicures in the future. I was upset. This is not the first or second time that the person servicing my needs there seem to pester me about consent for them to give me gel for an additional cost of $5.
