1 /5 Nona Yegiazaryan: Title: Betrayed by Trust: A Hair Horror Story at Georges Salon
I trusted George with my hair, having been a loyal customer for numerous highlight appointments in the past. So, when I needed a simple color correction on my roots, I naturally thought I was in safe hands. However, what ensued was a disaster beyond belief.
Initially, George agreed to do the correction himself. But then, out of the blue, he called me to say that someone else, a certain Lesia or Alesia (the name escapes me, as does her competence apparently), would handle the job because she supposedly could do it better. Despite my reservations, I decided to trust Georges judgment. At my appointment, I explicitly asked both George and this mysterious Lesia/Alesia if she was capable of achieving what I wanted: dark roots to blend with my current very light highlights. I stressed that I didnt want any experiments done on my hair. They both assured me that she was more than capable of delivering the desired results. Oh, how wrong we all were!
Instead of the flawless outcome I anticipated, I left the salon with a hair catastrophe. What were once beautiful, light highlights were now obliterated, replaced by a ghastly brown hue adorned with copper-gold highlights that looked like they were haphazardly slapped on by an unskilled hand.
The betrayal of trust is the most bitter pill to swallow. Georges decision to delegate to someone incompetent, coupled with Lesia/Alesias utter failure to comprehend my simple request, has left me traumatized and embarrassed by the state of my hair.
But the horror doesnt end there. When I confronted George, the so-called "hairdresser," about the catastrophe on my head, he showed absolutely zero accountability. Instead of owning up to his and his so-called expert mistake and offering to fix it, he had the audacity to blame me that I dont understand that she did the best job and fought with me not taking any responsibility for him putting me with this person that didnt know what she was doing. To add insult to injury, he had the nerve to charge $300 for this abomination of a hairdo, which I paid cash and then had the gall to ask that I pay even more for correcting the disaster his salon inflicted upon me.
This man is the epitome of greed and incompetence. He cares more about squeezing every last penny out of his clients than actually delivering decent service. Its clear that quality and customer satisfaction mean absolutely nothing to him.
In conclusion, save yourself the agony and steer clear of this sorry excuse for a hair salon. George and his team have perfected the art of disappointment and deception. Dont be fooled by their fancy facade; underneath lies nothing but a den of hair horrors and financial exploitation. Trust me, your tresses deserve better than this hair-raising nightmare.
