5 /5 Christine Calderon: Incredible Christmas Eve sing a long. Excellent orchestra, choir, and the pipe organ was so powerful. I loved the Christmas sermon from the lead pastor. His preaching was relevant, thought provoking, and honest.

5 /5 SHAYZON: We were invited to their Annual Christmas Concert by a member thats on the choir, and it was beautiful! The choir and orchestra were amazing! This was the first time we visited.

5 /5 Jose Mejia: This church gives people freedom to explore their spiritual lives by offering a wide range of connections and ministry opportunities. At first I was intimidated by the size of the church, but as soon as I arrived, people welcomed me and helped me get connected with others. There are great mens programs, which offer an array of ways to fellowship and grow in the Lord. And if people want to just sit in the pews and hear the sermon, they are free to do that too!

5 /5 Nana forChrist: Lake Ave.Church is going through a true revival. New programs are emerging. New members are being baptized every month. It’s so uplifting to see after the downturn in attendance during the COVID years. Three years ago we welcomed a new pastor, Matthew John, who preaches the Word with great fervency, telling true life stories of God’s miraculous working in people’s lives and applying Scripture to each Sunday’s lesson. The Altadena/Eaton Canyon Fire destroyed the homes of many members, but uplifting stories of victory and renewal are rising from the ashes. Our Church took an active role in bringing shelter and support to the victims because sharing Christ’s love is why we’re here. I’ve been attending many years now. I hope you’ll try Lake, too.. If you’re shy, you can sit in the balcony. Right now, we have just ONE Sunday service. It’s at 9:30am and there’s a place for you, I promise.

5 /5 Vicki Mejia-Gewe: I was looking for a new church, but I was determined that I was NOT going to go to Lake Avenue Church. But my husband really wanted to try it, so I gave in. I am so glad I did! The moment I stepped on the campus I knew that this was a place where God comes first. Four years later, I have never regretted that decision. This church has been here for me throughout good times and bad, pandemic and health. It offers ministry opportunities in so many aspects of life for all ages. What an amazing place!
