5 /5 Eli Allen: This was my first haircut in Humboldt county and Nina did an amazing job! I have curly hair, so I often have a hard time finding the right person to cut it but she completely nailed it on the first try. She is clearly quite experienced and well versed as a barber and I highly recommend her! Her shop is also really cool with a unique aesthetic. If you have curly hair and want it cut right, visit Nina!

5 /5 Bodhi: Nina is an absolute gift to Humboldt. Before I came to Ninas shop I could not find a barber who could cut my hair the way I like. Im used to a certain level of quality cuts that are easily available in places like LA and the Bay Area, but not so much Humboldt (until now of course). I really love that Nina works with you to get you a cut that actually looks good. I cant tell you how many times Ive gone to stylists who just give 5 seconds of "consultation" and give you a rushed botched cut. I cant emphasize enough about the quality of Ninas work. The shop is also a one person shop, which is great for this age of Covid. Small shop means less people in at any given time. The shop is also a wonderful space with great music and great conversation. If youre not going here youre missing out.

5 /5 Andrew: Ive had my hair cut by Nina a couple times, and its been an amazing haircut each time. Easily the best Ive received in Humboldt since I moved here 6 years ago. Ninas shop is always clean with a pleasing aesthetic. Its a small shop, one customer a time, which is ideal during covid. Nina also brings her dog to the shop, the sweetest pup named Brooklyn. I was convinced this is the barbershop for me when I walked in and saw the huge framed Lemmy art piece. Ill be back again this week to get my mop trimmed up. Cant recommend Nina enough! A++

5 /5 Connor Lonergan: I highly recommend this shop! Ive only visited twice so far but both times Ive been fully satisfied with my cut and experience. Nina, the owner and operator, is a great conversationalist along with being a top notch barber/stylist, she does a wonderful job of creating a welcoming and vibrant environment. She knows a bunch about the area as well and even recommended a tattoo parlor to me that I have since been to. She has a great taste in music too! She also has one of the cutest security guards in the area, a super sweet little pit bull named Brooklyn. My dog lives back home with my parents so getting to spend time with Brooklyn is always nice, shes super friendly and loves to be pet. Again, cant recommend this place enough!

5 /5 Mr Grim: I have been to most of the stylists in northern Humboldt and Nina at Humboldt Barbershop is by far the most legit! My first time in she turned a botched cut into the best mens fade I have seen, and the moment she trimmed my eyebrows and pulled the straight razor out for my neck I knew I found my barber. If you are looking for that old fashioned feel with top notch technique, look no further. Thanks so much, Nina!
