Alina Arsaeva I’ve been living in the Bay Area for almost two years, and I finally found a salon that I’m completely happy with :) I got my nails done there for the first time, and the result was incredible - perfect cuticle care and super neat polish. I haven’t had my nails treated this well in a long time. Huge thanks to the girls for both the amazing result and the cozy atmosphere they create in the salon! You walk in and immediately feel the good vibes :) These photos were taken three days after my visit, and my manicure still looks like new even though I’ve been cleaning and doing dishes! It’s like magic :)

Kristina L V and T is the best in the area! I used to go to a different salon that did not care for my nails and was using cheap and not so great products. The old salon’s gel products would always chip after a few days and also made my nails very thin and brittle. I started going to V and T a couple of months ago and happy to report that my nails are healthier. When they do my gel nails, it lasts up to three weeks. They do such a great job! The place is always clean and everyone working there are so kind. I’m so glad I switched. 8/23 Update: they truly do an amazing job! Penny did my pink tips and it was beautiful!

Hilary Holmquest I’ve been going to this place for years and think they are the best in the area. Even though I moved farther away from their location, I continue to come back because they do a better job than any other place I’ve tried. Recommend these lovely people for sure!

Sabrina Gonzalez My nail tech is Thai Ive been going to him for years now ,found him in Gilroy and followed him to Redwood city Ive never had any issues with my nails he does every design Ive ever had for him to do, my nails last well over a month if need be and I still get compliments as if it was day one I had them done ,well worth what I pay well worth the drive ....

Anca R Ive been going to Alex Nails for over 6 years. Im a Bodybuilder and Fitness Instructor and I put my hands through a lot of "torture" while weight lifting. Im also a competitor and I need special things done when Im ready to step on stage. The girls at Alex Nails are fabulous. I had turned to them after an awful experience at another salon that was using conventional acrylic nails that ruined my natural nails. Holly saved my own nails by using a technique called silk wrapping. Not only my nails recovered but they look so natural and thin and on top of it theyre strong enough to keep up with my lifestyle. Here and there I may have a broken nail but its the nature of my work, I lift heavy weights and Im prone to breaking a nail or 2. But even when that happens, only the gel breaks leaving my own nails intact. Also Holly would order for me special nail polishes and everyone should try the ones that change colors. Besides the ones that change colors theres some that also glow in the dark. So much fun.
