1 /5 Zahid Aslam: Terrible Terrible Terrible place! This place is owned by an Asian lady (I think), who was attending to another victim (I mean customer) when I walked in . The place appeared dirty and unkept. Saw a small cockroach greet me by running back and forth between the area under the worn out waiting area seats and the front entry way. I should have walked out, but dont ask me why I did not.
I thought the Asian lady was going to cut my hair because she seemed like she knew what she was doing with that customer on "the chair." No, she referred me to her employee (or son), who did not look a day older than 16. I was very hesitant to sit in that chair, but I have a very bad quality about me, which is that I dont listen to that voice in my head that says...RUN!
Anyway, the kid was the nicest kid in the world, but you could tell the way he was holding trimmers, scissors, and comb that he was an alumnus of the University of YouTube. The way he was holding my hair in between his fingers and taking his time to cut one hair at a time, I was afraid he was going to use his blood to wet my hair instead of the spray bottle.
After I explained to him to the kind of haircut I wanted (#3 on the sides and blend it into the top...keep it short), I looked around and did not see any certificates on the wall. I think they are required to hang those next to their workstation. I dont even have the words to describe his disastrous performance with my hair. I walked out of the place with $27 out of my pocket and $15 for a hat from the gas station down the street.
