5 /5 Michael Garoutte: We were in town for a work / mini vacation and stopped in for worship on a Sunday in June. We were warmly welcomed by an elder, who explained the service and how communion worked. The pastor greeted us as we were in the sanctuary before the service. The people were warm and friendly, and the music was uplifting, with both traditional hymns and liturgy from the Lutheran Service Book and contemporary songs with guitar, drums and microphones. The sanctuary was beautiful, having been built in the late 60s for a congregation that was much older. We were invited to stay for social hour / Bible study and refreshments, but needed to be on our way. Dont be afraid to visit if youre in town!
