Wil D I’ve been bringing my Honda Ridgeline to High Tech Auto on Lincoln Blvd in Santa Monica for the past 3 years, and I can honestly say—they’ve kept my truck running like new even with nearly 200,000 miles on it! From alternator and battery replacements to brakes, rotors, oxygen sensors, stabilizers, mass air flow sensor, gaskets, mounts and more—they’ve handled every repair and maintenance issue with top-tier precision and speed. Every time I drive away, I feel like I’m in a brand-new vehicle without the new car price tag. Not only is their work solid, but they’re fast and flexible—I’ve never had to wait long, and they’ve even worked with me on payment plans, which made a huge difference. This is an update just recently went back for my brakes and rotors and the owner took care of me and kept his word on doing an exceptional job. This will always be the shop I go to and recommend for everyone I know!

Dan Nabel 5+ years ago I took a chance on BVA rather than going to my local Lexus dealer, as I was accustomed to doing (the free, fresh cookies were nice) and I am so thankful that I did. Not only is BVA cheaper and faster, but you immediately get a feeling of 100% trust from these people. A small business with the same faces day in and day out. I now take my Honda Accord and Lexus RX 350 there for regular maintenance and all major repair work. Never once have I regretted it. I miss the fresh-made cookies from my Lexus dealership, but I absolutely love the people, prices and service at BVA and, again, I have TOTAL trust and confidence in them. Theres really no comparison.

Holly Dieu I love these guys. I have been coming here for years and I will not go anywhere else. They’re honest, thoughtful, great with communication, and their prices are so reasonable. They’ve come up with solutions to save my old Honda 2007 when other mechanics thought it was time to buy another car and/or pay thousands to repair it. With an old car, there are inevitably problems that come up- the difference is that J Motors helps me figure out what is truly in need of fixing and how to do so without breaking the bank. They’re also very methodical about repairs - they’ll do one thing at a time rather than full overhauls. They’ve probably saved me thousands of dollars over the years. I’ve never had better mechanics, hands down. Support this small business!

Andrea Marchesi They are very communicative regarding your cars issues. I have always had great experiences here. My only challenge is I would love to be able to make an appointment to bring my car in because I work most mornings early and miss the window drop-off (7am). Other than that, great service!

Warren Jacob I have taken my cars, BMW and MBZ, to Tony and Luis for more than 7 years now. They have always been honest and upfront about the work needed and getting it done at a fair price. In addition to the regular maintenance, I have had them rebuild the engine in my 1982 Mercedes 380SL. They really know their way around the older cars that I prefer to drive.
