What Clients Are Saying Crossover Church of God (GG)
5 /5 Jennifer Garcia: I very much love this church! Pastor Chris May and his wife Dee Dee are wonderful people. Assistant Pastor Dea is amazing and I have had the very best time coming back into my spiritual self alongside all the members here. The worship team is great, the Sunday School has been really fun for my 10 year old and overall Ive just had a great time here with people who feel more like family.
5 /5 James A. Rodriguez: I attended a Celebrate Recovery Testimonial Monday. I met several attendees, including the Pastor, whose name I forget. All were welcoming. A dinner was served, fellowship and praise worship preceeded the Testimonial. The word of God, according to the Scriptures was edified. Thank You, Lord, for my brothers and sisters. Amen
5 /5 Jaime Ross: Ive been attending Crossover Celebrate Recovery for nearly 4 years. "Recovering who God created us to be" is our priority and healing our hurts, hangup and habits is focus. Come Celebrate with us on Monday Nights. Dinner is at 5:30, large group at 6:30.
5 /5 Richard Garcia: Pentecostal denomination in 100 year old Church in Old Town Clovis. Pastor Chris May is a down to earth character with a solid sense of humor. Sermons are intertwined with gospel sing alongs which are fun! The congregation is very welcoming but a little older and smaller than other churches in the area and the building is as of yet inaccessible to the handicapped but Pastor May has a goal of correcting that. Like any church it has some hangups - our infant turned into a noisy toddler before he could walk and join the kids group so our welcome wore thin with some of the staff who worked in recording the sermons to post on SoundCloud. Church offers a loose Celebrate Recovery group on Mondays, Bible Study, Childrens Ministries, and Mens/Womens groups as well. Altogether a good experience for my family with relatively minor issues I would equate to growing pains.
With a few staffing shifts, some updates to accessibilty, and a renewed perspective on how to appeal to younger generations this church is set for strong growth with a strong leader behind the pew.
5 /5 DeWitt Senter: We love our Pastors Chris May and DeeDee. They are great leaders who live out their Christian lives with love and vision. Solid Bible teaching and inspiring messages. Search on Facebook and see archived sermons on YouTube. Service on Sunday morning at 10 am, Wednesday night Bible study at 7 pm, and 6:30 pm on Monday for Celebrate Recovery. Corner of 5th and Woodworth in downtown Clovis.
Jamie Redmon Honestly, this church’s curb appeal is what first drew me when I was searching. What I discovered once I entered the picturesque building were people with smiling faces who greeted us warmly and worship that felt completely free of “entertainment”and all about Jesus. The message came next: I prefer a pastor/ teacher who has the ability to apply the message to life today and was not disappointed. I didn’t know it at the time, but that first Sunday the man who spoke wasn’t even the Senior Pastor. Now, I’ve heard the Senior Pastor, Associate and Worship pastors and they all have a wonderful gift of teaching. I’m looking forward to one day looking around and knowing the smiling faces belong to my church family.
Campbell Jacob “J-Cup” Went to a fantastic AA book study meeting here, understand that this meeting literally studies the book not just read it but studies it, Thursdays at 630pm
MeVL L This was my first time attending with a friend and I liked that this was a smaller church, and loved the pastor who was warm welcoming, gave a good message and had a great sense of humor which he incorporates into his message. I could see the whole congregation stayed engaged
Jeannie Sadler FCF, Family Christian Fellowship, is a Christ centered, Spirit filled church that welcomes that one that hungers for more of God in their daily lives. Jois us as we are lead in worship by our Pastors Steve & Alisa Martin.
Shann Florer Amazing people and a wonderful place to worship. The pastor and worship team are very down to earth and make it such a comfortable place to receive the word of God.
Christine Hansen I grew up attending the LDS services at this building, and it is a wonderful place. So many good memories. My wedding reception was held in this building, and when I visit my hometown, this is where I come for church. Its right across the street from Garfield Elementary, by Buchanan High School. Its brick on the outside with beautiful white pillars with steps leading up to the doors, very picturesque. You can definitely feel the peace and holiness of the Lord in this church.
Oran Cogdill The bread of life is served there for all who seek peace and rest from lifes trails and sorrows. Truly burdens are lifted off our backs by the LORDs servant Yeshu now and eternally. Come and see...
