Living Hope Neighborhood Church

Matt Jurgensen Living Hope Neighborhood Church is one of the best churches I have ever been to and its a great place to meet great people. Pastor Dave gives a great sermon on Saturday mornings and there is free breakfast afterward which is cheesy scrambled eggs potatoes, and pancakes. Ive been coming here for almost 3 years and I highly recommend it.

St Cornelius Catholic Church

Laura Larita The best years of my Life !!! My father help build St. Cornelius. John V. Jimenez , My Mom Sara H.Jimenez Help feed the workers. I miss lighting candles with them after mass. Go pick A Saint, mom would say. I would pick the Virgin of Guadalupe. Her framed canvas was way in the back of the church corner then ,I felt bad for her . Mama and Daddy rest in peace. P. S . She is still my go too!!! Pray for us Virgin of Guadalupe, please!!!

Bay Hills Church

Tammy Reyes My first Sunday checking out Bay Hills, I was beyond nervous. I knew almost no one. I hadnt been to church in decades and I wasnt where I wanted to be with God. I wasnt even completely ready to socialize, but I took a leap of faith and showed up to check this place out. The second I walked up to the doors, I was greeted by two sincere people and with many other smiles. The music had already started and it was positive, encouraging and moving. I felt God in the worship. The message began and it made me laugh, cry (yes in the first day...lol) and think. Pastor Daves sermon was completely based on scripture. He used comprehensive examples, hilarious stories, and I didnt catch myself zoning out or checking the time...which...to be completely honest, Im prone to in uncomfortable situations. Afterwards, I helped myself to coffee and doughnuts and bumped into a few people i knew! They were excited and surprised to see me there and we caught up. They introduced me to someone else who showed my the childrens ministry (epic!) And the nursery was a DREAM for me as a new mom. Time was flying, and before I knew it, I had to head out. I came back the next week...and havent stopped going since. The messages at Bay Hills have helped me become the closest to God Ive ever been, and the friendships ive made over the past year and a half are such an important aspect of my life. As an active member, I am now happily involved with the church including the childrens ministry and small groups. Learning about the churches structure and community over the years has only made me feel more and more blessed to have found such a Jesus-focused, diverse, sincere, honest, and fun place to call home.

St Callistus Church

Zita Ibrahim I am not a registered parishioner at Saint Callistus, but I have been attending church services there for over a decade. The church is located few miles from my place of work. As a night shift Critical Care nurse, there’s nothing most comforting for me after a stressful shift but to be in a church. Daily morning Mass ( Monday -Saturday ) is at 9:00am; and before that, there are devotional prayers: the Holy Rosary, Our Mother of Perpetual Help, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Sunday Mass which I attend is at 10:00am; the Holy Rosary is recited at 9:30am. I sincerely appreciate that Saint Callistus Church devotes the first Saturday of the month as a Healing Mass; anyone needs not just physical healing but also emotional, spiritual and psychological healing, most especially during this time of ongoing pandemic, the war in Eastern Europe, and all disturbing events worldwide. The church is warm and welcoming, with a group of dedicated parishioners who are actively involved in various church ministries. On the church ground is a beautiful grotto of Our Blessed Virgin Mary, adorned with flowers; there are benches as one would find it inspiring to sit down and meditate. Saint Francis of Assisi has been a new addition outdoor to pray and meditate. With the sounds of birds chirping and the cool breeze from the surrounding trees, I am easily reenergized as I visit this place. There are several events at this church which I am most thankful to have participated in, such as the parish missions; the outdoor Stations of the Cross on Good Friday; devotions to Our Lady of Fatima; a weekend Advent Retreat; and Bible Study. I feel profoundly blessed and grateful that Saint Callistus Church has been a part of my ongoing spiritual growth, and now that I am finally retired after four and a half decades as a Registered Nurse, I am able to devote my time for spiritual enhancement ( one of my retirement goal). Thank you and God bless.
