1 /5 Elysia Denton: This is just my experience, I feel that the pastor has made it clear that he has a lot of things on his plate by listening to the sermons. He has also made it clear that the church is broke by mentioning finances during multiple sermons. The system of getting connected with new comers is broken, personally I filled out the connection card 2x and had been attending for 2 months, no follow up, or phone call on how I can serve or volunteer (my husband and I even went face to face with the pastor and his wife mentioning how we would like to be involved in the church, still nothing). I feel if you’re not giving big tithes you are not being seen or considered part of the church. I finally told my husband that I’m not attending this church anymore because we don’t have a place and the pastor seems depressed the last couple sermons he had given and going into the new year saying to just be ready for a bumpy ride because every year leading up to this was not very good is not a seed I want to grow in my life. Pastor has even stated “running this church is like a plane nose diving and everyone in the back is asking for food, while I’m trying to pull the plane up” (this was our first impression of the pastor as we went to lunch after our first service)
I wouldn’t recommend coming to this church if you truly are seeking a warm family church. Swipe Left.
