1 /5 Monica Morrell: So disappointed, my first impression was it was kinda dirty, but it was Friday night and I was way past due…so I went for it…though I had a decent pedicure, the polish wasn’t great but, I’m more upset about they wouldn’t soak my acrylic nails, they said they only pull (rip) it off with clippers. I said I that Don’t want my acrylic nails ripped off, I’d prefer to soak off acrylic. She said That takes to long…. Now I have to find somewhere that has the same polish color. Very unhappy I have to NOW make two trips to get my P&M..

5 /5 A ANS: I love getting a manicure and pedicure here. A large selection of polish and great pedicure with massaging seats and massage options. I recently got gel done and love it. Eyebrow waxing is also fabulous. It’s a small local business I love to support. I know staffing is challenging everywhere so please bring your patience. Weekdays early in the morning with an appointment have been best for me if I’m in a hurry. Otherwise I’ll check in and head to Ross or Trader Joe’s for shopping and come back. Lots of parking and very convenient for running errands. The manager led the effort to donate food and clothing to fire victims during the Santa Rosa fires. I will never forget that kindness.

1 /5 Danielle Adams: I am not someone who writes reviews but I feel that it’s necessary to let anyone who is looking for a pedicure in Petaluma to not go here. The quality of their work is horrible. My technician was incompetent and had to be replaced. She burned my nail with the drill going to fast, she would not soak off my gel she repeatedly used the drill when I asked for an alternative. She then used the drill at a slower setting and was barely making progress it was taking way too long to remove polish. She cut my nails sideways and did not use the tools properly or cut my cuticles or attempt to remove calluses. It was honestly shocking at how bad this was. I then asked if someone could else could finish my pedicure. The women who did finished did a way better job and completed the pedicure. I hope this salon improves, it use to be a good place to get nails done.

1 /5 T. Roth: I am officially done with this despicable salon! Please read all the way through to save yourself grief, time, your hard earned money, and potentially harmful chemicals from your body. I have been going here off and on since moving to Petaluma nine years, and I am officially done with these deceitful and unprofessional people. I kept myself from posting negative reviews up until now because I believed in them and really thought they were good people especially the owners Theresa and co-owner Lam. Originally, I was getting my nails done with Lam part owner and ex son in law. Lam always did my nails quickly and exactly in the flared shape that I liked. My nails lasted 4 weeks. I had no complaints with him until the day I decided to change the shape and go slightly oval, a completely different look for me. When he was finished my nails they looked like “bird claws”and truly made me laugh out loud! I politely asked him to change it back by filing them more square because the look was not for me. He filed them back to the shape I liked, I paid him over the top in tip as I always had and left on pleasant terms. The next month when I made an appointment with him, I came to the salon only to be greeted outside by the former receptionist Lisa. She appeared anxious and nervous and said Lam refused to take me and would never work on me again. I was shocked and stunned! When I asked her why he agreed to make me an appointment she had no answer. I became very upset and asked that he come and explain himself, and she said he refused to talk to me ever again. As a co-owner of the Salon, I found his demeanor to be extremely unprofessional, cowardly, and immature. I was left scrambling to find another nail salon on a whim. It was a very stressful and hurtful situation for me. Against everybody’s advice, I decided to go back and work with Theresa the owner despite everyone telling me to never give them my business as what they did to me was beyond unprofessional. Although Theresa has always been kind to me, the quality of her work speaks differently. Each time I have gone to Theresa for the past year, my nails have lifted within one to two weeks. I typically go four weeks anywhere else with no problems. It appears since the pandemic there are using cheap acrylic because my nails constantly lift after just one week and come off. I do not use excessive water nor abuse my nails. I also find my skin itching constantly each time I get my nails done here indicating that their products are of cheap quality and probably contain toxic chemicals. I never experience these symptoms anywhere else and I have been getting my nails done for the past 30 years with no issue whatsoever. After giving them one more try last week with a new technician Lynn, as expected all my nails started lifting and breaking one by one less than two weeks of having paid $70 of getting a fill. I contacted the salon and Lam answered and got me back in today to have them fixed by Lynn the same technician that had done my fill list two weeks ago. Mind you I had already done back last week and fixed 3 lifting and broken nails with Theresa. I told Lam and Theresa that I would be expecting a full set this time and not paying! Theresa agreed and said no problem and I went back today. I sat at the salon from 1 PM till 245 and had Lynn provide a full set. I was gracious to her and left her a $20 bill and walked out. I was talking to another customer outside when Lynn chased me outside, screaming and shouting in front of everyone saying that I didn’t pay for my service and to get back into the salon right now as she angrily pointed her finger and treated me like a thief! I walked back in and noticed everyone staring at me and I calmly explained that this was my 3rd time in within the last two weeks and that Theresa and Lam had told me to come back and that I would not be charged. She proceeded to yell louder and louder and said I owed $70 that she has been working on me for the last two hours! I told her that’s not what I was told by Theresa! Now I have ringworm too! NEVER AGAIN!

5 /5 willow hofmann: I love Bella Femme. The only place I ever go. I’ve never been disappointed with service or products. They’re very patient with my common changing my mind a bunch of times before finally committing to color. I usually get acrylics but I’m going soon to try gel on natural and I just don’t trust anyone else.
